Here's what I have been trying to post......

Ok, Ed got a new computer this morning and not everything is hooked up yet so I couldn't do pictures. But I made him hook up the scanner at least......

Here is the finished product......

Phew! I'm back! Think I can pack my bike in the van and take it with us? NAH!!!!!

Emily, your flower is gorgeous and I would be very proud to have that on my desk here by my computer. I would use it every time I wrote to your Mom!

Jennifer they are precious!!! I am going to steal your idea if it's ok and have my girls make them for their Moms for Mother's Day!!! I love the coffee bean idea too! Do you use some kids of sealant to keep the rocks in? Emily and Paige (and your scouts)would love the craft we did with David's class today! Do you get Family Fun magazine? If you do, they did the snowmen on the cover...the ones made out of tongue depressors. You paint the depressors white, then cut out little felt hats and little strips of felt to tie around for a scarf. They used real sticks for arms but I just wrapped a pipe cleaner around the tongue depressor...no need for glue or glue gun. Then they painted on faces and decorated their snowperson any way they wanted with sharpie pens. I cut tiny noses out of orange fun foam. They put a magnet on the back...turned out soooo cute!!! LOTS of prep time though for a big group. I have some stuff left...think I'll take it in the car and let the kids make snowpeople on trip!!

Hee hee...you joke about using newspaper for wrapping paper but I have done it before...it's cute!! With colorful ribbon it looks really neat!

Beccy...why is it that the good people don't see their good qualities and the lousy ones think they are the cat's meow? I don't know, but that does happen a lot doesn't it? Maybe it's the humbleness that keeps the "good people" good. But it is up to their friends to make sure they know they are wonderful from time to time....like you did with Betty.

LOL! Well, I only sorta half joked about it. It works even better when you use the Sunday comics. I've done it before, but that ink thing makes it a bit unappealing. So I just rub my hands on one of my cats. She's black and grey anyway, so nobody will notice. Okay, okay.... I'm *kidding*!!!!

The pens would be great for mothers day! I think the stones are shiny themselves, but I'll ask my friend exactly what she did. She sprayed the outside of the pots with glitter spray. I know that much. The biggest trick is to remember to stretch the floral tape so it sticks. (Emily is pleased you like hers )

I love the coffee bean idea!!! Might have to have the girls do one for the kitchen. Thanks Beccy!!!

I don't get Family Fun but often pick it up from the grocery store. I'll have to see if they have that one tomorrow. Those snowmen sound so cute!!! Great vacation project! My kitchen is done in snowmen for winter so they would be perfect!

Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce, that after 20 years, I finally got my diamond! It is a marquis cut in a very simple raised setting on a medium width band and it is beautiful!
