Hi.

Im sorry if I upset anyone with my complaining about packing. Yes Disney is fun but the packing part of it so soon after just having done it is no fun. Neither is the three hour drive up there with two kids in a car. Honestly if I werent meeting all the YaYas up there I would have cancelled this trip.

Life is soooo strange! Karen I'm sure that when I do get to go to a dis meet I will be terribly nervous too!!! After all....we know eachother's "minds" , but meeting in person adds a whole new dimension. Just think of the awesome people you will be meeting...not strangers, but friends you have laughed and cried with for months!! Won't those hugs feel wonderful??? Think of that....get through the packing and GO!!!! My heart tells me you will be really glad you did!!!!!

Karen, do not worry!! I can tell you that you would feel worse if you didn't come. I REALLY REGRET!! not meeting the diser's on the cruise we went on. I know it would have been a real highlight. I am really looking forward to meeting you! (Besides don't you want to see my "lesbo cop" haircut? LOL)

Well, survivor is back on.

I am planning on going to bed after (maybe).

I can't tell you how nervous I was when I went to the Columbus Zoo Meet this past July. I went by myself and it took me two hours to drive there and the whole time I kept thinking to myself to turn around a go home. The closer the time got the more chicken I got. I pulled into the parking lot and still couldn't believe that I was walking into a zoo meeting totally new people. I must confess that all fears were subsided when I saw a group of people at the entrance standing in a circle all introducing themselves and looking around for anyone wearing lime green. As soon as I met Elaine, I felt so much better. Everyone was so nice and they all kept their distance for personal space and we all warmed up at our own pace. It only took an hour for us to start laughing and really getting to know each other. I also got to meet Bonnie and her DD. She and her daughter are sweet. Have to admit that once I did the meet I found myself on the DIS even more than I was before that.

Survivor was good but I missed what the vote count was. DS came home and started talking to me right as Jeff Probst was tallying the vote. Was it an unanimous vote?

I must say this just to make sure that Jennifer is staying on her feet.

...I don't know if I could've gotten past that water cockroach thingy...ugh!

I have to go ketchup but I caught jennifer thiking that I was keeping a low profile until NANCY came back...no way!!! How could I stay away from you folks??? How could you think it? My life has been so sucky and busy these days I've been unable to do more than drop a post here and there...you know how it is.

After all the schedule changes (by the church secretary,who kept forgetting things like bible study groups and monthly dinners..) and moaning and complaining from leaders......I managed to get a record number of people to set up tables tonight!!!! Usually they get about 6. Tonight we had over 20!!!! Not bad for my first time coordinating!!!!

Last years coordinator was there (she's been on my butt being really critical of how I've done thing all along the way) and I think she was shocked!!! HA!

Now I have booth set up tomorrow night 5-8 and the bazaar on Saturday!!! Send me some......"I hope they go as well as tonight" pixie dust please!!!!

I would be nervous and shy about the meet, too (shock, huh??!! I actually get such acute stage fright that I can't even be the liturgist at Church, I am too nervous! And I used to have lead roles in school plays during my middle school years!) You will be fine and have a wonderful time!
