Hi all! The damage to the senior living condos was unbelievable. The tornado was an F-3. Everyone at work is shaken up. We are having a meeting tomorrow to decompress and to critique. What is hard for me at the moment is that there are a few who are second guessing my decisions, but I made the best decisions I could based on the information that I had at the time. So screw 'em. Next time they can do it.

Kimmie, darling, that bearskin rug you took upstairs belongs to me. Please return it. Also, Jay, what would Mrs. Jay say about you taking up with Kimmie? Kimmie, you do realize that Jay is a married man with a bad back don't you?

I forgot to say, what was most unbelievable to me was the straw and tree limbs embedded in the side of the concrete of the apartments. I've seen that on TV, but it is unimaginable to me until I saw it today. I have held it together so well thru the last 2 days, that I fell to pieces this morning...

Thanks Marilyn. I do not regret a single decision that I made, and I figure that the naysayers are the ones who didn't have the information that I had. In all actuality, I think I made TREMENDOUS and probably life saving decisions. I hear the firemen didn't like one of them, but somehow, I don't recall asking him, and I don't recall him giving me any information or even talking to me about anything. Maybe he should have been communicating with me since I was in charge at Command Central. I evacuated the apartments, and I hear that one of the firemen was pissed about it. But the fire chief said no and the police chief said yes and we had a gas leak, so someone had to make a decision. I figured the risk of another tornado was LESS than the risk of an explosion so I evacuated. I must have done right, because everyone is alive, and no one was hurt.

Critique...constructively done, is a good thing. It helps everybody learn and become stronger. But people who are negative just to make themselves look better I have no use for!!! You are right my friend...all are alive and accounted for!! And while the firefighter and the policeman were arguing strategy, the nurse picked up the slack and got the job DONE!!! Hooray for you!!!!
