Nancy, thanks for telling me about your sub position. You're right the middle school age is a very delicate group of kids. I like them but if truth be told I like subbing at the high school the most. But for some reason, the principal and staff really like me at the middle school. I have found that the more that I sub at the middle school the easier it is. As far as special ed. goes, I love doing learning disabilities (probably because DD has one) but for the multi handicapped I am not comfortable doing that class. I am just not trained to do it. I always feel in the way looking to the aids for leadership. Also, I had one experience with a child and don't want to ever repeat it.

As far as crying goes. Was it the part when he gave all the teachers gifts from their childhood? OK, I admit I cried. But I also cried when he proposed. Just call me a Cry Baby!!!

LOL Betty!! Surprisingly, this was at a Methodist church function. At the church, not the airport. Funny, I didn't realize the church appoved of displaying clothing in that fashion. Guess I missed the Sunday when it was approved.

Yippeee!! I bought my Ya Ya buddie's ornament today. I couldn't decide what to get, so got something I wanted. I have one more little thing to look for, then it'll be on it's way somewhere east (no duh) of me. I found a little something for one other.... particularly mean YaYa today too.

Oh say Tiffany Towncar again!!!! We have used it twice and absolutely loved them both times. We made a grocery store stop each time also. Got to go to Albertsons. It is the best!!! Love that grocery store.

Kim I will definately stop in tomorrow but it will only be a short visit. Tomorrow evening is the Fall Awards Night. Since I am a single parent I have to hit volleyball and cross country. Cross Country has a senior tradition that all seniors get a senior moment. Each senior gets to take as much time as they want to say whatever they want about cross country, (other team members, coaches, training, camp out, memories from the years, and of course thanking mom and dad) There are so many tears, even the guys cry. This is such a close knit team. I will be videoing it of course. Then after that the coach does a slide show of the season complete with jokes, monologue, and captions to every slide. Will be a long night.

I dont cry for things in my life but things do make me tear up. I tear up at silly things like commercials. Disney ones get me all the time.

Betty one of my major major pet peeves around the house is taking something out and not putting it back. We have had more discussions about that in this household than I can count. My dh is the worst for this. I can tell you what he had when he came home for lunch when I come home from work. He never puts anything away! The kids are a little better about it but still have to be reminded over and over.

Funny little story regarding my vent.

I have put up fall/autumn towels in the powder room along with some of those window cling ons for the mirror. I think it looks nice. Well, my DH has always I mean always had the habit of wadding up the towel on the towel bar. This is one of those things that drives me absolutely nutty. (I mean if I walk by the room and out of the corner I see it crooked, I flip) Well, I guess because this has been a 3 day weekend for him and he has been here with us, I had forgotten who it was that does this. He can be gone all week and I never have to straighten the towel. On Sunday, I put a post it note above the towel rack and asked that the towel please be placed back on the towel rack with the orange satin pumpkin facing out. Of course, the first time he went in and came out the post it was upside down and the towel was folded width wise instead of length wise but the orange satin pumkin could be seen. Got to love a man with a sense of humor. Sick sense of humor but at least he has one.

Jeannie, I am glad to be one of the reasons that keep you coming back. Of course I really want my name by Apolo first. Just want to toy with the boy!!!!! Then let kim have him right before he poops out. Just call me "LoveApolowokandleavehimforkimdork"
