just another nonsurvivoryayadork here

Sorry, gang, I just can't fathom what you all see in that show. But then, many of you probably don't understand my Star Trek obsession, either.
Bonnie, I've decided to leave Pierce with you after all. Patrick Stewart has accepted my invitation to be my #1 cabana MAN. Never liked bald before, but oh my, is he ever hot in blue jeans!!!! And that lazy smile........Please don't tell the tag fairy I borrowed Pierce to help Sean tuck me in last night! I promise I won't do it again. It's just that I'm such a sucker for the accent!
Oh Karen!! Give your DS a big {{{{{HUG}}}}} from me! I know how hard it must have been for him--my DS is now 23, has adhd and is also bi-polar. School was positively excruciating. I hope your tummy get better real soon. The holidays won't be much fun if you can't eat!!!!
Michele, dear, chicken paprikosh is a Hungarian chicken dish made with a sour cream gravy. For those of you who asked for the recipe, I make it the cheating American way:
Liberally sprinkle paprika over chicken breasts and simmer in chicken broth till cooked all the way thru. Remove chicken to a plate & keep warm. Add at least another tablespoon or 2 paprika to the broth along with 8-16 oz. non-fat sour cream, depending on how much broth you've got and how much gravey you want. If it isn't thick enough, use a little cornstarch dissolved in cold water. Return chicken to the gravy and serve with noodles or rice and a green vegetable on the side. My kids absolutely loved this--called it "Pink Gravy Chicken"!!!! (Using low sodium chicken broth and non-fat sour cream allows me to feel less guilty eating such a fattening-type meal) Soooo easy, huh??!!
Well, the DH is home, so it's time to eat. Be back later
Beth
Oh, and Betty, where did you get all those adorable angels? I would love to have them too!
