Hmmm... I got a lot done today but I know I would be getting more done if I weren't thinking so much about WDW... I am so excited to be able to meet so many of you I was even checking out new hair colors for the trip instead of what I've had for quite some time now (there is a casting color that is identical to my perm hair color... keeps it nice and unfaded longer). So I don't know if I want that or something else.

Okay silly question, while I am thinking of this trip, I am going to meet Beth, Kim, Nancy, Beanie, Karen & Michele (so you all don't think I am favoring anyone I did it in order of when I am meeting you all for the first time). Is there anyone else here that will be there at that time? I don't want to miss anyone

Road kill soup to start. Then road kill roast. Stove Top stuffing with road kill giblets in it. Road kill roast gravy on the mashed potatoes (those are mashed potatoes, aren't they Pam?). Don't touch those olives.....they are road kill eyes! And road kill in gellatin for dessert.

(Am I getting you guys primed for Thanksgiving dinner?)

Yeah, Jeannie, now you've guessed my secret, I'm a proctologist!! I examine all the mothy men who have ticked off women!!

I call them "gibbles" - they're really gibblets, aren't they? The funny thing is that I've cooked many wild turkeys but a couple of years ago was the first time I actually cooked a store bought turkey. Wild ones don't have the gibbles or other various body parts stuffed back up them....... When I cooked that turkey a few weeks ago for the Scouts, I made my DH pull the gibbles out, to make sure I didn't have an embarrassing incident at the dinner.......

You know where this is leading to, don't you? I get to the dinner and a Scout Dad, who is also a State Trooper, (down, Marilyn!) carves the turkey for me. He and his son call me over - and show me --------- what else!? The bag of gibbles! My dense DH pulled out the neck, etc. and left the gibbles!!! I was so mortified! I grabbed the gibbles and stuck them in a napkin and threw them away before anyone could see them. Yeah, I have a "cooking reputation" at Scouts as well....

LOL Pam. I had one cooking "incident". Bought a ham to make for a Sunday dinner. Took the outer wrapper off and put it in the oven.

After a while I started basting it with a glaze. Well, I got busy with something else and asked DH to glaze it for me. He starts to glaze it, stops and looks at the ham, starts sniffing and says "Uh, Mar, somethings not quite right, but I can't put my finger on it". Well, I roll my eyes at him, go over to the oven, take a fork and go to prick the ham. Well, I took off the outer wrap, but there was another film wrap on the ham, which is now melted all over the ham, but very well basted thank you very much!

Boy...if my DD din't have bad luck, she wouldn't have any luck at all.
Her car was broken into and her CD player ripped out!! Yes ripped out! Ripped her whole center console apart.
I wish I was closer. I think she needs hugs.
Now she is dealing with the police, getting an estimate for the police and having to get in touch with insurance people.......sometimes it is so hard being so far away.

LOL.....had to laugh though, when she told me that when the police officer was telling her about the police report she told him she knew all about them!
Too true....poor girl has had her purse stolen twice....and now this.
