Good Morning All

I will be stopping in every 5 minutes or so. I am trying to enter grades and assignments in a computer program. The teacher I am subbing for hasn't put in any quarter grades yet and I need to learn how to do this. I am starting with my health class first so I can only screw up 28 kids and their grades first.

Oh, I left some bagels and cream cheese in the kitchen. Just didn't want to cook this morning. Sorry, bfeller is lazy today.

Yeah, Betty - mess up the poor little kids' health grades first - who needs health , anyways.

I have to kick DD out of bed and get hustling to get ready for Church.

I just made some hot chocolate to go with the bagels there this morning that Betty was so nice enough to get out for us (hey non-cooking days are good too!). Also some freshly squeezed orange juice and a few others are there as well as a pot of coffee brewing for you all

Hi Betty!!! Good luck with grading and learning how to post them! You are a brave and daring elder Ya Ya!!

Just wanted to let ya'll know that dd says we made a mistake not moving into a barn instead of the beach house!! She says we don't know what we're missing!! Silly child!

Morning Debbie! Make yourself at home!! Sorry about your deflated tickle me Elmo ring...just grab one of the "beach boys" and ask them to re-inflate it for ya! Gotta keep these guys busy!

Elaine you read my mind. Orange juice is so good. I just put on a pot of tea for us non coffee drinkers. Well, now entering their first grade from 10/31/02. May be here a while. Will be back in a few. (Basically, whenever I get one assignment entered)

Kim opens her secret door just in time to see Karen and Elaine attempting to drag Beanie down the hall. She yells to Karen and Elaine, telling them that Boo Boo and Tom are waiting for them out on the balcony. Together, they've made breakfast for the girls and hope to take them for a horseback ride on the beach afterwards. Karen and Elanie dash outside. Kim grabs Beanie's feet, dragging her back to her door. She pulls her into her room, where she proceeds to drag out Betty's Halloween costume and then puts it on Beanie.... Spandex, speedskates....Kim then grabs her Sharpie and goes to work on Beanie's face. Kim pulls Beanie into her closet where the whips and leather boots are stored....turns off the lights, shuts the closet door, then skips off to her private secret bath to enjoy a leisurely soak in her embarrassingly huge bathtub.

bfeller wanders down the hall and sees something sticking out of the under the stairway room. It looks like a skate. Beanie, who did this to you? chuckle, chuckle What? Well, you look just fine to me. (bfeller is so relieved that the Apolo costume is on Beanie and not herself). bfeller pats Beanie on the head and tells her not to worry. This too, shall pass. bfeller wanders back down the hall and can't wait to tell other Ya Ya's to come down here and see what Kim has done. We should discuss Kim's consequences for this action, been doing too much conflict resolution these days. Of course, we will discuss it as soon as we finish laughing. Sorry Beanie

Health grades are inputted. Now on to some Advisory stuff. House is so quiet. Allison is still sleeping and the Christmas music is playing. Good cup of tea (Constant Comment) and an Asiago bagel. Woke up looking at Bob in bed looking just like he did in The Way We Were Life just doesn't get much better than this.

Hi Jodie. How did DH like Cincinnati? I noticed a little more southern warmth here on Thursday.

Hi Betty!! Bob says Cincinnati is a beautiful city...wish I could have seen it myself instead of getting his trip report!!! I have already warned him that a Ya Ya meet for this summer is in the works! I still got these but I think he is becoming resigned to the fact that us Ya Yas stick together. Hmmm...might have been all those "weapons" in the box from Bonnie that started to sway him!! So other than being puked on, are you enjoying the new job?

Brekky looks yummy Hot chocolate (Marilyn I haven't tried the ones you sent me but I will today), Orange juice (yummy), tea (another non-coffee drinker here) and bagels and cream cheese (better hide some from Carol....we know how much she likes those and her WalMart was out).
And....are there any cookies left from last night. I love chocolate chip cookies dunked in hot tea Makes the chocolate all melty.

Good Morning Everyone!! This is my first visit to the Beach House...I'm going to start unpacking & get into my bright orange bikini don't worry...we're gonna pretend I look good in it...

I missed a lot yesterday because they put my FIL in the hospital. He called my SIL to go to emergency about 1 hour after MIL left for 2 weeks in Hawaii. Since MIL is gone DH & I have been taking turns with his 2 sisters going to the hospital.
Jen-I'll probably be in Ann Arbor a lot this week, he's at U of M.
He almost passed out and they are hoping that it's just some of his meds causing the problem. He had a pacemaker put in a few years back so they want to check that too. Hopefully he won't be in too long & everything will work out. DH worries because his Dad is turning 81 next week and he's got numerous health problems.
I hope everybody is all settled in the new beach house....did anyone save me a room???

Kim decides it's time to check on Bean... she steps out of her embarrassingly huge bathtub, slips on her oh so soft bathrobe and sees that Beanie is gone. Kim leaves the peace and quiet of her hidden world to search out Beanie. She finds her in one of the other bathrooms, surrounded by Betty, Elaine and Jodie. It appears that they're attempting to get the Sharpie off of Bean's face, while struggling to supress the giggles and maintain a look of concern on their face. Kim wanders back to her little nest, knowing that it will be months before the Sharpie art wears off because she used one of those super duper maxo permananto never wears off Sharpie markers. Personally I think she looks great with a full beard, and the little glasses I drew on her are adorable! Maybe I shouldn't have blacked out her two front teeth though... THAT was kind've mean.
