My DD is on the HS Dance Line, she's a Rock 'n -Ette! And yes, she wears white go-go boots, along with her red and white sequinned costume.

Oh, Pam!!! You HAD to bring up the Veteran's Day incident, didn't you! As I tried to explain to you at the time, it was a VERY WARM day for November and I just HAD to have some air-conditioning!!!!!!!!! And just WHO taught me all about air-conditioning???!!!!!!!

Elaine, we have some serious play time coming up at WDW and you need to be in peak condition!!!!!! Glad to hear the Zicam is working. I've heard a lot of good stuff about those zinc lozenges, too. Since I never know if it's a cold or allergies, I never know when to try them!! LOL!!!!

Hi Ann! I hope you and all the Swolphins have a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

Beth, I was hearing the same thing from Dan today as well about needing to be mended for the hours and hours of play time at WDW. I will be well by Sunday and I think the Zicam and zinc losenges do help (the times I take them). Zicam is expensive but I really think based off of how I was feeling Sunday that it really helped me to push past the worst part of my cold quicker. I have bad allergies too but when the top of my head is stuffy and my teeth don't hurt, that's when I know it is a cold.

Your recipe for the veggie lasagne sounds great Kim, thanks. And yes, aren't little boys "just little boys" at times? He did fine sweetie. I honestly think little boys just dont know how to react to emotions at times and cover them up in other ways.

Geez Beth. That Veteran's Day fiasco was just too much. Your "air conditioning" just sent them over the edge. It doesn't matter that your boots are to small. Just kick those legs high and no one will notice you are walking pigeon-toed.

Hey everyone. Im sorry Ive been kind of scarce. Its been a really busy couple of weeks with all my son's extra activities and getting ready for the trip. A trip that might not even happen tomorrow if I dont start feeling better. I ate dinner tonight and it is NOT setting well at all. I took another Nexium even though Im only supposed to take one a day. I feel horrible. I just hope its not the stomach thing thats going around. My son went to Ft Myers today and they had a little girl on the bus who got sick through the entire trip not five feet behind him. Arrrrrrrgh. I cant get away from this mess lately. Then we had a lady come in today who was nauseated. I had such a little hissy freak at work that my boss handled it himself LOL. Im praying that its just because I havent been eating much and my stomach is just having a hissy.

Michele Im sorry to hear you werent feeling well either.

Hear ye! Here ye! I am happy to report that ALL THREE pies made it INTO the oven without one spill!! Wooo hoooo!!! First a recipe and now this! OMG...what's wrong with me?! Somebody stop me before I become domesticated! Where are my boots? Where's my spandex? Did Bonnie take that bear skin rug back? I need to borrow it! This can't happen to me... gimme a pair of those go-go boots now before it's too late!

Marilyn, I know that you hit the nail on the head concerning Cameron and his attitude today. It's just so frustrating to watch though. I truly wanted to walk up behind him, give him a good head whap and tell him to think about what he was witnessing. I do think he realized the gravity of the situation, but as you said...just didn't really know how to cope with the emotions, so instead "smooshied" them behind a smart aleck attitude.

Just want to stop in and wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. I have things packed and sitting in the diningroom. Now for the trick of getting it in the car tomorrow after school. It snowed here today. The grass blades are showing through but it is white. Fortunately, the roads are clear.

I am sorry that I haven't been on as much as I would like but I am sure that most of you know that it is mom who usually does all the prep. I have been running all afternoon/evening. Hope I didn't forget anything but if I did I know that my SIL probably has it packed.

I will meet you all at the parade on Thanksgiving. I did have a little accident with my outfit. I washed it in cold water and the lime green from the dress bled onto the white fur trim. The trim is now light green. So, can the rest of you please wash your uniform and try to get the fur to be light lime green? I would really appreciate it.

To those who are feeling bad/sick (Michele and Elaine) I hope that you feel much better tomorrow. To those who are feeling good, please don't eat anything that Kim makes or bakes.

Don't know if you all will be here when I return on Sunday night but if you are somewhere else, please PM me and let me know where we moved. I was thinking about a ski resort, since we have had our first snow. I don't ski, but I heard that the fireplace in the lodge is the place to be. Thought our Cabana boys can keep us warm there, which brings me to my new little vent. Where is a picture of Robert Redford in our gallery? I didn't see it.

Well, have a safe holiday for those who are traveling and to those who are entertaining, don't eat anything that Kim has baked. That should cover my Beware of Kim Cooking for a few days.
