Stopping in very quickly before I go look for a rolling duffle bag and then up to my room to do some packing of clothes.

I will try to take a polaroid picture of Allison and her date, then have DH teach me how to scan. So far their only going out is on the way to pick up the phone. This should be interesting. Actually, I am quite happy that this is it. I did some checking today about the boy. I checked with his teachers from 8th and 7th grade and heard that he is a nice boy who makes good grades. I also heard that his parents are very nice. Am I being too overprotective?

Pam, thanks for the offer of the dresses. Allison is in a 7 right now but she may get a growth spurt and slim down. She is 5' 1" and very bothered that she is shorter than I am. I am 5' 4" if I have shoes on.


Kim, I thought about you alot today and your DARE officer and his family was in my prayers. How is Cam taking it?

Betty and Nancy, Cam actually handled it well. I just don't think most kids really realize what they're seeing. At least mine didn't. I love him, but he can be fairly clueless at times. After about 300 patrol cars went by, I walked over to him and quietly asked him if he'd been watching how far some of the officers had come from. His response? "Uh. No. How do you tell?" At another point, he was poo pooing a group of girls from his school that were singing... (beautifully I might add) so I had to give him the evil mom eye and tell him that his attitude was completely disrespectful and that he better stop and think how he'd be feeling if that officer had been someone he knew and loved. He sobered up fairly quickly. He's a sweetie, but on occasion succumbs to the "cool dude" syndrome...makes me want to slap him upside the head.

Jeannie, I don't know yet what this individual's motives really were. I've only heard speculation. Reports say that a letter was found in his possession stating something about voicing out against police tactics. Apparantly one of the leads was something on the internet...the news said that he gave his name on a website, and claimed responsibility for the shooting.

Marilyn, Jennifer is something else isn't she? I've already put my Jennifer gloves and my Jodie button in my little carry on bag... now I just need to collect my little hat and I'm ready to go to WDW! Oh... and clothes. I might need some of those too.

Nancy, I haven't heard from Auriel yet. I hope they're not having trouble with their new connection.

Jeannie, I hope your drive was a safe one. Ummm... I'm not so sure about the Parisian flat thingy. French guys don't do it for me. As long as I don't have to change guys, I'm happy.

I suppose I should go downstairs and attempt a couple of pumpkin pies. Pray for me YaYas!!!

Hi all! I am back from my PTA Board meeting. Now I am on a cleaning dervish. I am feeling much better. Just weird, like I hit a nerve or something. I need to exercise. I am thinking of taking my steps and firm tapes to my mom and dads, but she does have a treadmill.....

On the subject of skimming--hello--have you seen my posts? I am like so low on the list! Last house I was up there with the mothy ones. I try to keep up, but......

Oh, I forgot...

I (not I, a screw)punctured my tire yesterday and ended up with a flat. I have an Aztek, unusual car-unusual tires. Can't get them here. Nice huh? But.....since it was a "nail guard" tire I am getting a free one thanks to my IL's who did all my running around and calling for me. Sweet huh? BUT....we have no reliable transportation to J-ville now. So what do my IL's do? They offer us the Expedition!! YEAH!!

What a greek tragedy! Fortunately, DH partner is picking him up for work so that I can keep my hair appt... I will try to take before and after pics...

Marilyn, these boots are a 9 1/2 and I TOLD you I need a size 10!!!! How the heck can I march in the parade if I can't even get the daggone boots on??!! Oh, and........I was practicing that kicking thing you taught me, I think you called it the can-can? and..........well.........um.........I sorta knocked over the coffee table. I think maybe we should rename it the can't-can't.

Duh! It's the standard "YaYa Go-Go Performance Outfit." Our white go-go boots, lime green velvet dance costume with white fur trim, you will also have your lime green Santa hat. Do not forget to wear your white undergarment this time! You can get away with "forgetting" them just once - and you did this during the Veteran's Parade and caused 3 of the Vets to have to go to the hospital! I am on to you, Missy!

Michele I do hope you are feeling better soon. For this cold of mine I tried these Zicam nasal swabs. You have to start them at the beginning of the cold (I did) and then use them for 2 days after the symptoms of the cold go away. Well I used them and I think this cold could have been a bad one (see Nancy I am answering your question here too... nice when you can merge like that ) but I am feeling so much better today... actually yesterday too. I felt the worst on Sunday which was about day 3-4 of my cold and then it just poof went away. I have my normal stuffiness from allergies but that's it now

Yep vacation for me is almost here... 8 hours of work tomorrow and I am done until the 9th of December. I think I really need this vacation now and I am so looking forward to doing absolutely NOTHING on Thursday, Friday & Saturday (except packing).

You all are making me laugh becuase with all this GoGo talk, I realized I own a nice pair of white gogo boots! How's that for a 25 year old gal?
