That's A LOT of cupcakes! A lot of dressing and decorating, but oh yeah! You have experience with that! :lmao:

The decorating was the fun part....I really need to invest in a set of proper tips and bags. I just ended up using some freezer bags and cutting the edges off so that I could pipe in a circular manner. :lmao:

Went and come back and of coure 13 is closed. Lucky you PIO.

Soccer was good, my friends team was playing the best in the league. Probably fortunatly that team only had 7 people show up where as my friends had all 11 plus two subs.

My friend scored 3 times and had one assist but by the second half stayed back on defense. He looked a bit tired out. Final score was I think 7-4. They have playoffs starting next week.

DS played with some kids there he knew from school which was nice.

Whoa! PIO you won. Yeah! And to answer the question well know I get strange looks, am I supposed to use a suitcase?

At least your friend knows that it was worth him pitching up and playing. Without his 3 goals, it could have been a draw.
Without the assist, they could have lost.

Glad DS had friends to play with.

It just depends..... I don't think they make suitcases large enough to fit a train in it. :rolleyes1

I am bad I am eating home made cookies and I didnt share.

That's as bad as not sharing popcorn! popcorn::

Heading out to Guitar class and then it's the school pick-up.

LAST or no last....I'm glad #13 is finished and we can all settle back down to the more steady pace of catching up....and being LAST to Post (albeit fleetingly!).

I'm too tired to make anything homemade!

I ate leftover scampi cappellini with mushrooms, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, garlic wine sauce and who knows whatever other goodness for breakfast.

Leftover pizza (that we ordered at the yard sale yesterday) for lunch.

And leftover Rack of Lamb and Prime Rib with Mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, plus some onion rings that were Fran's from the night I had the pasta, she had a Monte Cristo (which she finished along with Prime Rib and fried chicken from the previous nights).

So we basically had three nights (and one day) of leftovers for meals today! :rotfl2:

What will I do tomorrow?

I had an extreme chocolate blizzard tonight. Good thing too since it is the flavor of the month and will be gone tomorrow. I guess I lucked out since I rarely go to a Dairy Queen.

It's cool DS runs in to friends now and then and at least by the field ther are some dirt piles and a playground to play on too. Much better than seeing them at the grocery store where they can't run around a bit.

Funny you say that about my friend. He does catering on the weekend and usually has to miss games since they are all on Sunday. So he only made 2/6, and both time scored 3 points. In the other 4 games his team went up 2-0, and then the other team scored twice so it became even 2-2, and they ended up winning some or lossing some.

They just don't have a good scorer without him. If he get a good pass he can really take it to the goal and he shoots only high percentage shots. Some of the team don't even shoot at the goal, and waste shots. It annoys me to watch them waste scoring oppotunities. The name of the game is get close to the net then shoot.

You know left over food to me is so good, it is better than the first serve of it. It got to sit and let the flavors meld together more. I vote for the left over.

Sheesh I need a bigger suit case to put my train inl

It has been a long time since I went to dairy queen. I have a terrible time staying away from soft ice cream. Yum

I could take it or leave it. I agree with you in some cases, left over is way better than fresh. But some times I only eat it so I don't have to waste it.

The right pizza is sometime better cold than fresh.

Actually these were difficult leftovers to reheat (at least for me). It's hard to keep the prime rib and lamb med rare when you reheat it. Plus the fried chicken needs to be crispy, then there was the Monte Cristo.

Now lasagne, beef stew, etc those get better definitely with age.

Shivering in the car at tennis.
Curry always tastes better on the day after it's been made. So when we have a big family dinner, we're normally serving day old curry up.

Yes, reheating can be as much a art at preparing food the first time.

Sitting in bed watching a No Reservations filmed in Northern Japan just weeks before the quake, thinking I'm still hungry. A piece of cinnamon toast may be in my future.
