Breakfast time...then school drop off.....and then a run out to Costco. I sure hope that pack of wonton soup noodles knows that it has my name on it!
 

It is indeed tough trying to diet while you're surrounded by people who don't care what they eat...or can eat what they want and don't gain a pound :headache:
My brother doesn't care how much he eats. What he eats as long as it's got meat.
These hours are just killing me so I'm eating quite a bit of junk to keep the energy up.
I mean my own worst enemy as I love the sweet stuff and carbs...lol...but it would be easier if the people who have time to do the grocery shopping bought vegetables on occasion...

Oh well...off to work I go...
Hope DH and DS are doing better PIO.
Things to be settling a little in London but it's other areas still getting flare ups. Gotta love people who pretend to help someone but are actually mugging them....

Queenie, glad to hear London is settling down. Are you referring to the news clip where the guy got his face bashed in and the people who appear to be helping him are actually taking stuff out of his knapsack
? Incredulous!

It's so tough to eat well working long hours! Especially when you have vending machines onsite.

So dar today I think I'm under 1000 calories so far.
 
Thanks I will be right over. The dogs have been just as lazy today. Under 1000 wow! Id be starving.:eek:
 
I was pretty starving when I posted about only having eaten 1000 calories,
  • a Yoplait yogurt,
  • 8 oz V8,
  • 1 cup Cheerios with 1/2 cup milk,
  • 1/2 cup of cottage cheese
  • 1 orange
  • 1 snack bar
  • 2 spicy tuna handrolls (no rice, cucumber and avocado instead)

However, since then I made my Southwestern Steak Salad with lettuce, cucumber, celery, red onion, green & red pepper, jack cheese, pico de gallo, tortilla strips and grilled skirt steak. So I'm pretty stuffed, plus I'm still nursing that one glass of wine. :thumbsup2

How long does it take for results to show?
 
Just home from Costco and no, I haven't been good with food. Had one of the hotdog meals and then some noodles...my friends insisted on buying lunch!!

Got my noodles! And also a quiche for dinner tonight.

So, if I don't have dinner tonight, I might be well within my WW points allowance for the day. I think I have enough points for 2 pieces of fruit.

Don't think I'll be having dinner at this rate.


Okay. School pick-up time and then I should have some time to come back on later.
 
Alison - one other thing. The ignorami thread is worried about Kimmar again. Can you ask your contact if there is any further news or voice communication with Kimmar? They just want to know that she's okay (and hasn't been banned or something). :confused3

This is based on last year's system. It's like counting calories; only you don't have to remember large numbers.
1 slice of bread is about 1 point.
1 teaspoon of sugar is 1 point.
A piece of red meat that is the size of your palm (not including fingers), is about 3 - 4 points.
A standard muffin is about 15 points.

I'm allowed 20 points per day.

I haven't been back to WW this year and they have refined the system somewhat. I understand that they now share the points over a week.
 
I love the WW meals especially breakfast, french toast. I dont count the points but the calories.
 
Sinus headaches are not fun. Keep well.
DH is pretty much back to normal. We all had a reasonable night's sleep last night; so everything is well.


YAY for mom coming home! Hope you and dad survived the experience.
