A friend took the boys to school for me today and I'm just kind of dilly-dallying and putting off going to work. A good employee would have just left early and gotten an early start on their day!

With that rain?!?!? I would dilly-dally til it slowed down, if I could. Work will still be there when you get there!

It's going to be some day at work, too, so I'm sure it'll still be there when I get there. We've got some corporate big-wigs supposedly coming in today. And we'll be slammed because we always are when there's snow in the forecast. (The "oh my gosh, it's going to snow and we're never going to get out again so we need to run to the grocery store for things we can't live without like an entire cart of who knows what" syndrome! )

Of course, I doubt that work can be much worse than last Wednesday - when I practically drug into work 'cause I felt so bad and then had a corporate auditor show up at the door an hour after I got there! (In hindsight - I don't think I really gained any brownie points by refusing to let him in the office because he didn't have his proper store id.)

Milk, bread and egg people I can understand. But some people buy the strangest things. Like they're not going to survive with the hersheys syrup or their glade air fresheners?? We really wonder about some people when we seeing what they're buying during these snow rushes.

I think people tend to NOT think when something like this is happening. See it all the time.

I can see the "panic" of it with 8-12" of snow coming. But when the forecast calls for a "dusting" and they still panic??

Okay do you ever get dressed in the morning and seem okay with what you picked out, than get to work only to find you don't really care for what you put together. That is me today.
