So, last Monday. Donna and I think we're gonna have a nice relaxing day together since we don't have to work, and the kids have school. We could NOT have been more wrong.

Our DS15, Garrett, had a bad headache when he woke up. Said the light was hurting his eyes. Oh great, we thought, migraine. We gave him some Excedrin Migraine, and let him rest for awhile. We figured, better late to school than not at all.

Well, a few hours later, he says it actually hurts worse! So we decide a trip to the hospital is in order. We took the 50 minute drive, and signed in at an ER that was chock full of people about 9AM. We then spent about 10 hours in the ER!!!

The doctors ran some initial tests, his head wasn't getting any better, so they decided to admit him. :(

We got a hotel near the hospital, and left the hospital about 11PM.

Over the next few days, the headaches eventually went away, and the doctors could find no physical reason for them. THey concluded after having a psychologist talk with him, that it was more than likely stress and anger related. We spent Friday coordinating some stress and anger management classes for him with a therapist. We hope this will do the trick in the long run.

We had a good weekend. No issues, and we went to the Witte Museum yesterday, where they have the Body exhibit. Really interesting, and the boys both loved it.

So now, he goes back to school today, we go back to work, and we hope for the best.

Sorry this is so long to read. We haven't actually been home much the last week, so I couldn't post.

Now, I have a LOT to catch up on!!

Wow! I'm sorry you guys have gone through so much this past week. I'm glad that the tests came back okay, though!

:grouphug:

Well, I am off to work. Have to go see what got screwed up while I was out sick half of Thursday and all day Friday! :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good Monday!

Poor Kevin and family! :grouphug: I hope things get better for you all!

there you go!! Off to the first day!

Hmmm. First day is a direct flight via Southwest, arriving in Orlando about 2. We figured after checking in at SSR, we would head to DD for some Earl of Sandwich, shopping, and exploration. The boys have never been, so it will be new to them. No parks the first day.
