I left my house at the time I should have been getting to the office.

DH has the day off tomorrow. I might call in and take the day off or just go in for an hour or two.

How was your dinner last night?

Dinner turned out to be just as wonderful as every other year! The restaurant did not disappoint. They seated us in a nice corner table with a view of the dining area. We like to people watch, so this was perfect for us. 2 waiters that paid very good attention to us. Bottle of Franciscan Oakville Estate Magnificat was a perfect compliment.

Field Greens salad with House Dressing
Filet Mignon
Au Gratin Potatoes
Steamed Asparagus
Cheesecake

Well, we brought the cheesecake home for the boys. We not quite willing to part with the 1000 calories that it probably is!

And of course, the best part is spending alone time with the love of my life.

Thanks! Now the next hurdle is the anniversary dinner at California Grill next month! (I say hurdle because we've never eaten there, and we are both hoping for a good experience for our first time!)
