came over the oregon cascades and hit 100 degrees last monday at 3,000 feet....never though I would see those numbers. When I left salem for reserved long time ago ocean room 110. told son leaves the windows down, feel the yuma love...it was only for about 40 mins...went over tiny foothills of the larger coast range, dropped in mintus to 84 degrees, then at the beach, a brisk 72 degrees, two night, three days, missed this historic 118 for Salem, Oregon....thank you very much, will take solar eclipse over a solar mistake
