*Caution! Potential Spoilers Ahead!*

I saw it last night and thought it was great! Not your typical Miley Cyrus. I thought it was overall a GREAT movie and it was a lot better than I thought it would be.

Has anyone else seen it? What did you think of it?

See I thought it was gonna be kinda ehh, but it was MUCH better than I anticipated. The acting was good. The storyline wasn't very original, but still very good.

*SPOILERS*
I read the book and cried when they broke up and when Steve died.

Im most likely going to see it this week over my spring vacation. It was a great book. I have always loved Nicholas Sparks and his work.

A friend that I went with read the book and loved it, I might have to borrow it from her but she said some things are a little different. But she said that the one of the two things you listed (when they broke up) was different. But I'm sure you'll still like it

Yeah the comments on imbd say it's very different for the book in way of back stories and because Sparks wrote the book after the screen play, there's more things in the book than the movie.

I'm going to have to read the book soon, so I can see the movie.
I really don't like Miley Cyrus, but my friend saw the movie and said it was pretty good and Miley wasn't that 'annoying' in the movie

I'm not a nicholas sparks fan. i probably won't be seeing this.

i would sooner kill myself than go see this movie

It was really good.

I don't like Miley Cyrus, or romance films, but I really liked the story between the father and the daughter, especially after she realizes his condition.

*SPOILER*
To me, the saddest part was when he died while she was playing.

i went to go see this movie twice, and i must say, i enjoyed it much more the second time. i read the book and fell in love with every second of it. i knew the movie wouldnt compare and i thought that the movie was rushed and just really bad at some points. the books ending and the movies ending were SO DIFFERENT and most of the big events were different too and they were missing some important characters and missing details and other things, like the purple streak in ronnies hair. the first time i saw the movie i hated mostly all of it but the second time i enjoyed it alot more. but, jonah (the little brother) was by far the best part of the entire movie.
hope you enjoyed me thoughts hehe :)

I just saw it tonight... Some of my thoughts on it ( POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD!)

The Bad:

I thought the relationship between Ronnie and Will was really rushed. I didn't really get a sense of them falling in love, and already they were saying "I love you" before I knew it.

Ronnie was also extrememly rude to her father, even when she found out his "secret." It just didn't seem like a very accurate portrayel of what someone would do in that situation. I get that she is angry with him, but I don't think I would be focused on that if I were to find out what she did.

The Good:
It was a very beautiful story. I loved the message, and I loved the environmental hints it had in it. (Example: Turtle Rescue) Miley was at some times annoying, but overall the story did sort of fit her.

I liked the connection between Miley and Liam, I thought their relationship was-for the most part- very believable.

The little boy was by far the best actor in the movie, in my opinion. He made the movie so much more emotionally powerful, and overwhelming. His emotions and reactions were what really made the movie just amazing, and heartbreaking.

THANK YOU!!!
i completely agree with you 100%!

I read the book and I knew they wouldnt completely follow it. The only thing they followed was the characters and the story line. I thought it was good, but they missed soooo much. I liked the ending in the book much better...

Definatley agree with everything you said here. Especially about the little boy.

I read the book a while back and though it was amazing.
But I just got home from Spring Break yesterday and have to wait to see it.
If its anything like the book then it has to be wonderfull!

I saw it and it was much better than i had anticipated. I am so glad Miley Cyrus is leaving Hannah Montana!!!! The story line was kinda predictable tho.

I read the book and loved it then i saw the movie and didn't think it was that much different. Like the book had more detail then movie. I agree with everyone else saying the little boy who played Jonah was by far the best actor in movie. He was so young and soo good you never know that was one of his first movies. There were parts where Miley was annoying but for the most part she was really good.

I have read the book and saw the movie! The book was good but I thought the movie may have given me a more visual feel. Lol!
