The Lashers go to WDW 8/30

Cast of Characters
Tom, 29, hates to admit that he is a kid at heart!
Tam, 28, (me) LOVES everything Disney, can’t get enough
Mike, 10, Loves the fact that according to Disney he is an adult.
Abby, 7, Loves the fact she is going to Disney for the first time, but hates the
fact that her brother is coming!

This is our last day here, and we are going to go to Typhoon Lagoon! We head out to lunch at Cinderellas Castle for lunch. The food is great, but the characters are much better, I got teary eyed again especially when Abby got kissed by Cinderella!

As we were leaving the park I hear the fireman saying the barber shop is down there on the right buddy, I was like WHAT I have been looking for that shop for 10 days! So we find it I get Mikes hair cut, and some paint in it! I tried to get Abbys hair braided, and they told me they cant braid anymore. But they promised to make her hair beautiful! And they did! She looked like a princess! I have pictures I can show you when I get them back!

We leave the park and head to Blizzard beach only to be told its closing due to weather. So we head back to the monorail station to head back to the hotel. Tom was getting grumpy, so I get mad, and took the kids to the pool, he napped. When I took the kids up to the room after swimming he was up, and we ate dinner and got tattoos by the pool and headed to Disney Quest! Awesome place! Great games and a great way to end our trip to Disney! We walked thru Pleasure island area and hot the bus for pop! Night all, it was a great trip and I learned a lot!

Things I have learned about our vacation
1. Always have good shoes!
2. More room, Less stuff
3. Kids will be kids, enjoy them
4. Pack foam for mattress at any hotel
5. Don’t leave home with out Tour Guide Mike
6. 30 rolls of film is too never too much! we used them all
7. Treasure every moment
8. I need to save more money, for more Disney trips or DVC!
9. I am becoming addicted!
10. After a park day the kids go to sleep within 5 minutes
11. There is always more to learn about Disney

I had to laugh at the part where your son refused to go to the room because it would "MAKE HER HAPPY!"

Just finished reading all your reports at one sitting. It's a lot of work to have so much fun, isn't it!lol Glad you all had a great time. Especially getting to open MK! My DGD (then 6) and I got to open MK in 2002 (I think) but it was before they had all the characters & the family come in on the train. It was still fun though and we felt special all day!

Have enjoyed reading your reports. We were there 8/21-8/29 so we overlapped some days. I checked the days we were in the parks but we weren't at the same parks, the same days. Thanks for taking the time to write this.
