Tom, 29, hates to admit that he is a kid at heart!
Tam, 28, (me) LOVES everything Disney, cant get enough
Mike, 10, Loves the fact that according to Disney he is an adult.
Abby, 7, Loves the fact she is going to Disney for the first time, but hates the
fact that her brother is coming!
Oh my what a joy! We woke up in the Happiest Place on Earth, and we work up to the terrible Crabby Abby!!! She woke up miserable, lets hope it gets better as the day goes on, I scheduled the Pirate Cruise for them this am at the Grand Floridian! So after breakfast at the Pop food court we get directions to drive to the Grand Floridian! We get there we pay for the cruise, Abby does not want to go, in her words . why do I want to go with other kids mommy I love you. I said yes but who wants to be with mommy all the time? She said she did! Ugh, what a morning! I ask Tom to take pictures of the kids in their cute bandana ears, and guess who forgot the camera?? Any takers yes Tom forgot it so after the kids left the dock (all kids went even Abby reluctantly) he went back for the camera and I sat and wrote in my journal and read a book. When he got back we checked out the resorts grounds, and ya know for being the flag ship hotel I wasnt that impressed, maybe ya have to stay there, who knows. The kids came back smiling and screaming Yo Ho Yo Ho, they had a blast, so the rest of the days plans were to swim, and thats just what we did, for fifteen minutes! After we got in a storm came so back to the room, Tom and the kids played the PS2 and then we sent the kids to the arcade so we could have 10 minutes alone, after this many days together 10 minutes is all it would take! We then went down to the arcade, not even 10 minutes later (LOL) and here comes Mike and Abby, She is crying, apparently she told him she had to pee, and the rule is they stay together, he said well go, and she waited for him, he took too long and well yes another accident, so back in the tub she goes. We they headed to the Magic Kingdom to take the monorail to Chef Mickeys for dinner! As we got to the Magic Kingdom we realize when Abby showered Tom left her key on the bed and since we didnt know what we were doing after dinner we decided we needed the key, soooo back to the bus and to the hotel, then another ride back to the Magic Kingdom, and FINALLY the monorail, and we became co-pilots, yes we got to ride in the front!
At Chef Mickeys those darn people tried to take our pictures again, like hello, dont you know the kind of day we had??? So we opt out of the pictures again! We meet all the characters, swing our napkins around and eat, well all but Abby, she has decided to only eat Ice Cream today and after the day .. 12 dollar ice cream it is! LOL
Tonights extra magic hours are at the magic kingdom so we decided to take the bus to the TTC and go to MGM, we get to the TTC and guess what its too late the busses have stopped MGM closes soon, soooo we head over to Epcot World Showcase we get to two countries and KABOOM! Abby told Mikey he had cooties and he start bawling! (by this point Im thinking we should have went back to the hotel after dinner, but Noooo I want more Disney!) So we sit and eat pop corn and relax and wait for Illuminations! Mike is still upset so I ask him if he wants to go back to the hotel, his reply is priceless NO I dont want to go back because that will ONLY MAKE HER HAPPY I about laughed out loud, but held it in, and we agreed to just watch the show and get to bed. I decided at this point that no matter what plans tour guide Tom had planned those kids were sleeping in tomorrow!
