This in from Mouseplanet.com (Click Here for the full article):
During the rehab, which will extend through Spring Break, The Land may undergo the following changes:

Potential ramps, a new elevator, staircases, and escalators will be installed to ease guest flow to the bottom level.

The Sunshine Season Food Fair will be “demolished” and replaced by a brand new, smaller restaurant. It may have seating back where the current Food Fair is or perhaps in the center of the pavilion with more “permanent” tables.

Living With the Land will have its queue changed with potential ride changes. (No, the greenhouses aren?t going anywhere).

There may be a new opening scene and brand new Animatronics.

The balloons and fountain are going away.

California Time… gift shops, fastpass, you name it.

Entire retheming of the pavilion.

That's where the big news comes in. For the first time, we are hearing strong information about the long-held rumor about The Land Travel Agency.

The details?

“Modernization” of the pavilion with “travel agency” theming.
Soarin' will become an “airport” (as confirmed by the most recent Disney press release)

Living With the Land would be rethemed to a cruise line. Will this affect the ride? Who knows. Maybe the name.

Potential retheming of the future restaurant to suit the pavilion's needs.

Circle of Life would remain.

Note that this is still a rumor and has not been confirmed yet.

I think Nestle paid a fair amount of money for changes/upgrades when they took over the pavilion from Kraft. My understanding is that they have a ten-year contract; that would now be more than half over. The only way I can visualize them sinking even more money into the pavilion is if they do intend to remain the sponsor.

Many people are hoping that they will pull out; that may allow for purchase of decent coffee on WDW in the future.

We just wish they would go back to the original regular ala carte menu at the Garden Grill revolving restaurant. We only ate there once after Kraft gave it up and Nestle changed the restaurants format. Previous to the change over, we ate there every time we went to WDW. :(

We're just the opposite...Our best breakfast ever was at Garden Grill and we wish they would bring it back. I'm still hoping everything will be done by our trip Apr 16-Apr 26.

The Sunshine fair is one of the places we frequent for lunch. Hope this part of the rumor is false

Took the boat ride last week. It sounded like most of the science had been edited out of the guide's narrative. All that was left was a recitation of all the different plants being grown, with occasional statements of the obvious such as, "See how water trickles down the roots."

I was disappointed. The science on that ride is plenty interesting.
