I thought the same thing.........I still love Roo and Piglet!
Any prospective homes yet?

They are so adorable! You just want to play and play andplay with them.

They are so adorable!! I love little kittens.... now I just have a big fat cat. But I still love him

WOW! They are fabulous! So cute! I love them all. With a family and all those cats you must be running 24/7

Since Shenzi had her kittens we adopted a kitten we named Figaro and call him Ro for short. He looks a lot like your Roo. I'm anxious to hear that you're finding good homes for all your babies. They are too adorable!

They are sweet! Who are you keeping?
Thanks, I think so too! I am keeping Rabbit. We formed a bond early on and he RUNS to me every time I enter the room and wants me to hold him. I am attached to all of them, but there is just something about him...
Any prospective homes yet?
Yes. Pooh is going to my Great Aunt's home. Tigger is going with a good friend. I also have a good friend who wants 2 of them, just hasn't decided which 2 yet.

There are 2 people who are potential and I am keeping Rabbit. So I really only will have to probably find 1 more home...which won't be hard, I think. If necessary, I will keep Rabbit and another of the kittens...but that would be really pushing it. We already had 2 cats, 1 dog, 2 guinea pigs and 5 geckos to begin with, LOL.

I just wanted to add that I am trying to socialize them all with our other pets. I have been taking the advice posted earlier in the thread about allowing the pther pets to check out the room while the Kitten family is out of there. I also have been allowing Shenzi out to explore when the house is quiet. She is very timid at this point, but interested in checking everything out.

I also have taken a few of the kittens to 'meet' the other animals in a strictly supervised situation in our gameroom. Zoe, our female cat, is showing interest from afar. I think she is afraid of them (or the mommy that she thinks 'may' be around).

Tucker, our male tabby, is VERY interested in them and he will get on top of them and hold them down to lick them. They just lay real still while he does it, but they don't cry or try to get away. And even after he lets go of them, they aren't afraid or anything. They will come back for more. Is this a dominance thing that he is doing? We are very careful to watch him closely so that he doesn't hurt them. That doesn't seem to be his intention, because he could have the first time if he wanted to. I am just curious as to why he does it?

Anyone have any experience in this?

Cats lick for a couple of reasons - one is to clean and one is to mark their scent. Your male is probably "marking" the kittens as his. They are responding as unafraid and coming back for more because they are used to Shenzi cleaning them. I wouldn't be concerned, unless he begins to show aggressive behavior.

Those kittens are all beautiful and so is Shenzi. I wish that you were close to me because I'd take any of them!

Are you keeping Shenzi?

Thanks Jips. I didn't even think of that...duh. It's been over a years since we brought Tucker home (as a kitten), I couldn't remember how Zoe reacted to him. My DH thinks she did the same thing.

No, he hasn't been at all aggressive with them, and at this point, we are only allowing a small bit of supervised time together. I think he is just curious.

Are you keeping Shenzi?
Yes, definitely.

Haven't heard from this thread for a while. Just wondering how all the kittens are doing. How many did you keep? Have the others gone to thier new homes yet?
