Cast of Characters:
Me (Amanda), 26: Obsessed Disney Wife
Ray, 29: Not-so-obsessed Husband. (I think he thinks I’m a little crazy  )
Valerie, 11: My Cousin, who is way too cool for her own good
Kayla, 9: My other Cousin (also Valerie’s sister), who is just as obsessed about planning as I am. We’ve nicknamed her The Littlest Travel Agent. And I have no idea where she got that from :teeth:

7:10 came WAY too early today. I should’ve called the front desk to see if they had the number for the truck that hit me, but that would’ve required too much energy. Kayla answered our wake up call, and we all stayed in bed 10 minutes longer. After everyone got up and took a shower, it was crunch time. We grabbed our backpack and fanny pack, and hit the road. We only had to wait for the bus to Magic Kingdom for a minute or so, and we got there around 8:45, just in time for the opening ceremony.
At 9:00 we rushed (hobbled?) over to Fantasyland, and got in line for Dumbo. About 10 minutes later, we were riding that gray elephant in the sky. Then we hit Snow White, Peter Pan, and It’s a Small World, all walk on. Personally, I loved it. I kept glancing at the girls to see if they got that twinkle in their eye, but nada. I guess I was feeling a bit nostalgic, but all they kept worrying about was where we were going next. Great, I’ve created monsters.
Next we rode Pooh, (5 minute wait), then the tea cups (also 5 minute wait). The girls decided they just HAD to ride the Indy Speedway, so 10 minutes later Valerie was Driving Miss Daisy, aka Me. (Remind me NEVER to let her drive…) We went over to Toontown Fair, and walked through Minnie’s House, then visited a couple of characters outside. (Meeko and Timon). Then we did Mickey’s house and the judge’s tent, and then Goofy’s Barnstormer. By this time it was already 11:00, and we had gotten two lands done already…I was feeling quite proud of myself. In Tomorrowland, we got FP’s for Buzz Lightyear, then I FINALLY SAW CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS!! Up until this point I never knew it existed, but I’m so much more aware of my surroundings now (thanks Dis!) After that we rode Buzz (loved it!), then got FP’s for Stitch and rode TTA. Decided to eat lunch at Cosmic Ray’s (chicken strips and chicken nuggets for all of us), then rode Stitch’s Great Escape. I really wanted to like this ride, since I’m a huge Stitch fan, but it just wasn’t that good. When it ended I was left with that “Is that it?” feeling…not bad, not good, just nothing. :confused3 After Stitch we headed over to Liberty Square to ride Haunted Mansion. 5 minute wait for that, then we went over to Frontierland. I grabbed FP’s for Splash Mountain, and then got in line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which was our longest wait of the entire trip…a whopping 20 minutes. We all LOVED that ride, the girls wanted to ride it again, but we didn’t have time to wait in line. As we were walking towards Main Street through Adventureland we stopped and rode Pirates of the Carribean, no wait. On the way back towards the castle we stopped and got Mickey bars; they weren’t as bad as I remembered. Ray opted for popcorn instead, and we all got water bottle straps. We also had to stop because Chip and Dale were there, and they’re Kayla’s absolute favorite characters. They even signed her cast. We scooted over to watch the parade, and got pretty good spots 5 minutes before it started. We were right between Adventureland and Main Street, with the parade coming from our left. It was my first time seeing one of the parades, so I was pretty excited, and I’m glad to say it didn’t disappoint. Right after the parade was over we walked back over to Splash Mountain and used our FP’s. Another favorite of the girls, although Kayla was scared at first; she got over that pretty quick, and it turned out to be her favorite ride of the whole trip. We had some time to kill before our Priority Seating at Cindy’s, so we looked through the shops on Main Street, and rode the train around the park. Had dinner at CRT, at first I wasn’t that impressed, but then our first magical moment happened. I got the spring roll for an app, and as I was eating it, the waiter bought out another one, saying that the kitchen INSISTED that I hadn’t received it yet. So we enjoyed a second app for free. (And it was yummy too!) Dinner was very good, the kids got chicken fingers, and Ray and I both got the Pork Tenderloin, which was delicious. Before we left the waiter took our picture and one of the kids mentioned that it was our anniversary, so he gave us 2 Cinderella’s Castle champagne flutes.
After dinner we were stuffed, so we decided to do Mickey’s Philharmagic. We all loved it, one of the best 3D shows at the World, IMHO. It was starting to sprinkle, so we went over and rode Buzz Lightyear again, no wait. Then the girls insisted on riding Astro Orbiter, so Ray and I hung out on a bench waiting for them. After that we decided to go find a spot for Wishes since it was about 7:45, so we went to Tomorrowland Terrace, but I was outsmarted, all of the patio tables were taken. On the way out, we noticed a row of benches against the wall, sat on the one on the end, which had a PERFECT view of the castle, fireworks, and Tink! Ray and Kayla saved our spots, and Val and I went to get ice cream in Tomorrowland. Nothing special, vanilla and chocolate soft serve, but it was a good timewaster while we were relaxing.
Wishes started at 9:00, and was absolutely beautiful. I cried, and Ray didn’t even make fun of me. (He's always calling me a sap because I cry at everything). Instead of herding along with the crowds to the buses, we hung out for a half hour, then checked out the shops on Main Street again. When we got the buses, there were only 20 people or so in line ahead of us, and the bus came within 5 minutes. Got back to the resort, and went straight to bed, tired but happy.

Great reports so far. Keepem comin'.
