Mickey and all the other charactors are not people dressed up in costumes, I know each and everyone is real in my heart of hearts.

WDW is an ever changing land of MAGIC and WONDERS for the mental and physical being. It is the only place that I have been that I can leave the real world behind me, and once again become a child that can experience one delightful day after another without the cares and worries of the world of adults.

Cost factors are relative to the joy and happiness factors, the dollars spent at WDW, are real good investments for my mind and body.

Amen! ::yes::

To us, the cost of a Disney trip doesn't really count -- there's a difference between real-life expensive and Disney expensive. :teeth: Besides, when a trip to Disney creates such wonderful feelings and memories, you can't put a price on that.

i'll add an Amen to that too

the cost doesn't even come close when you add up all you get out of it:D

There's a song called "New York State of Mind". Well, in our case it would have to be a "Disney State of Mind". If people don't get that state of mind, they just don't get it!!!

I so agree. I have been January of 2003 and again in September. I will be returning March 17, and am giddy beyond belief. My husband just can't understand it. He enjoys our vacations, but just doesn't feel the magic. This trip is being paid by a friend because her husband won a reward and spouses are invited, but not children. They have a three month old who nurses, so I will be going to watch Sam while they are attending luncheons and dinners. All other times I'm on my own. They'll pay all my expenses (even my own room at the Dolphin!). It's only for five days (and two of those are travel days), but I get a taste of Disney way before I thought I would. My next trip was not planned until May 2005 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

There are so many things I am looking forward to. Seeing Wishes and Mickey's Philharmagic for the first time, getting a pic of the Living Statue holding Sam, tasting my favorite snack (Kaki Gori), soaking up the atmosphere on Main Street, USA, taking the new Epcot tour on the Segway, Mission Space, oh, I could go on! There's nothing that matches the feeling of being at Disney. The next 37 days will seem like an eternity. This is just what I need to get me through this long winter.

One of my husbands friend always asks us why we spend so much money to go to disney every year...he wants to know why we just don't save a couple thousand dollars and just go to the shore<I live in New Jersey BTW> For someone like him, they just do not get it...how can you possibly compare a week down the shore to a trip to Disney World??????????
