Yup, I completely understand busy. We had a 2 day trip planned (since Oct) for Dec and had a room all booked at the CCI and then 4 days before, DH just could not get away. Work was crazy busy for him.

Sara, I love your DAY reports. I love your pictures on there as well. Don't take it down. But if you want and need a break, then do just that. Take a break and come back to it in a few days, few weeks …

I don't want a break, I just don't feel like wriitng any more day visits, but I post my photos in the photo of the day thread, so I can continue to do that....you and coltonsmom are the only people that read and comment, Matt posted like once and so i am just going to take it down,it doesn't get much foot traffic and there is a ton of other TR anyway..

Construction walls moving, rides breaking down, funny guest actions, are all interesting things to hear that you saw.

Since you live close, do you ever just go up for a Saturday? I did quite a few times when I lived down there. Always a long day because I would show up early and leave late. But it worked for me.

No, we have the SoCal AP and we are blacked out every Saturday.

We have done many Sunday day trips but it is a long day from San Diego. So we have been going up on Sunday morn and doing all day Sunday, staying overnight, doing all day Monday and heading home around 7pm. The hotel prices are pretty good for Sunday nights.

the truth is, that those other TR's are better, yeah they maybe filled with chit chat etc, but i wasn't getting alot of foot traffic in my day visits and i just don't feel like it's all that important compard to the other TR's..besides bret has a great one going and so does sherry!

I see. I had done both Saturday and Sunday trips in the past. Sunday was better because it was a bit quieter. But what I didn't like about Sunday was getting home so late and thinking great 4 hours to sleep before getting up for work. It's nice that you stay for the night and tack on Mondays.
