No, I drive fast...it's the merging part that gets me. Back in NY..no one lets you in and I had an accident. Portland is not nearly as manic...but I still don't like doing it.

I hate that. Here people "let you in" but they only give you about as much room as a car length to merge. Either that or they're too busy talking on the phone to notice you're trying to merge.

Not only are all the major employers in town laying people off......but the strip clubs are closing as well. Not that I've ever been.

I had a friend (straight girl) who met a boy who danced at the local strip club. She moved out of state with him. I never met him, but one of my gay friends said he (and all the other boys who met the boyfriend) thought her boyfriend was gay. Probably not going to be the relationship she was hoping for! So, since he moved away, they are probably hiring down at the local strip club.

Well not to throw any aspersions on other states - but why not give some of the more gay friendly New England states a try - unless you have some out standing reason to move to one state versus another.
