Time for some pictures! We're down to 11 days to go.

Here is a picture of the bed we're bringing for the kids. Madeline will sleep in it on the way down and at the Dolphin and then Duncan will take over at the condo (we hope)

Here is a picture of Duncan's newest skill, clapping! He started doing this last night.

and the most recent pic of the kids together. It was taken about 20 minutes ago!

Things to do before the trip:
clean the house
finish packing
pick up last minute baby supplies.

This weekend I:
stopped the mail
packed our snacks
ordered a small cooler for the drive down
confirmed that FIL will only have 1 suitcase to take in the van. Very excited about this because that means we should be able to fit all of our stuff no problem... and that's a LOT of stuff.

I need to get some pictures of the Star Wars customs I got. They're not quite as cute as I anticipated but they'll work!

I was so far behind - tons of comments here!

I was also thinking we could grill some burgers one night. The time share has grills outside.

We have grilled out several times on trips, it's such a nice time and meal!!

Today's drama is brought to us by Tinkerbell. Madeline was asking about meeting Silvermist and why she didn't meet her with Tink last time. I think told her they closed TInk's house and she freaked. NOT because of Tinks house but because of the "desserts" they had there. She was talking about the gift shop with with the cupcakes that you see upon exiting. I had to assure here we could get a cupcake elsewhere.

She is my drama queen!

that's so cute! I've read, more than once, the White Elephant cupcakes at AK are delicious and they have a big white chocolate elephant on top! YUM!

I think the faiiries are at Epcot just until F&G is over. I'm not sure where they'll be after that.

In other news I don't think I'll be taking the girls trip to FL. But, I have just about convinced Eric to go Sept 24- Oct 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I even made an ADR for Le Chefs!

I believe the fairies are still at Epcot. I haven't heard anything different. The area they had for them was very cute!

CONGRATS on the September trip. September is AWESOME! Such low crowds and nice weather! We had a walk-on for Soarin' in September.

OK we are officially booked for September 24-October 1 at the Sheraton Vistana Resort. We thought we'd try this one and then decide between it and Mariott Harbour Lakes for next April.

Not sure if this will help, but the Downtown Disney resorts are currently running a sale - just through this Friday (tomorrow). There is information on the Downtown Disney Facebook page.

We did this our last trip - it's awesome!!!! We all loved it!

19 days! I need to figure out how to stop the mail for the week we're gone. I completely forgot about doing that. FIL usually picks it up for us and since he's coming with that won't be an option!

I'm starting to pack. The 2 days between Memorial day and when we leave are going to be BUSY! We'll be at my parents for Mem. weekend so can't pack too much before the Tuesday after. I've got a million things going around in my head and feel very unorganized. I have a giant pile of stuff in my entry way just waiting to be packed and organized.

ANTS! They have invaded my house. My wonderful mom said she's going to come today and help me get rid of them. I just dont' have time sine I have a very busy almost 10 month old that won't nap! I love my mom!

We have dress reahearsal for M's ballet recital today and tomorrow is the recital. I can't wait for this weekend to be over!

Ants - try pepper! We have a dog so try not to use poison for obvious reasons. when the ants visit, I sprinkle the floorboards with pepper. they take it back with them and can't digest it and it kills them.

We were at Epcot during F&G show and the line was long for Tink. You needed to get in line about 40 minutes a head of time--when we got there, Tink's line was closed so we were 2nd inline for Vidia & Rosetta. Worked out nice because Tink came over to visit our line when she was done. No autographs but we did get to see her & snap a shot off.

THANKS for the pepper tip! I think it's the one thing we haven't tried. I think I"ll be sprinkling the house with pepper before we leave on our trip. lol I did find and seal 2 spots there were coming in.

Ok Duncan just woke up from nap so this will be quick. I JUST remembered that we need pennies an quarters for the pressed penny machine. Madeline loves doing this. So I called my dad and he'll get some for us. We don't have a physical bank to go to at the moment. We do everything online.

7 days to go. I think I did my last shopping trip yesterday for the last few things we need. I did however just order packing cubes from ebags this morning. I got free 2 day shipping and it says delivery of June 1. That's cutting it really close.

I think the thing I'm most worried about on the trip is the Rapunzel meet and greet. Wish us luck.

We'll be gone this weekend but I'll try to pop in before we leave next week.

Brook have a fantastic time on your solo trip!

Good luck meeting Rapunzel. We did not even catch a glimpse of her. We only saw Tiana in a parade. Of course Katie is in that in between stage of still liking princesses but wanting to keep that a secret ...we focused a lot more in the "big kid" stuff and after the first 2 days we collectively decided not to wait in line for characters so that meant we basically only saw characters at meals. I was kind of sad for that.


If you have or can find a mini-m&m's tube it is the perfect size for storing quarters and pennies - I layered them inside and then kept that in my bag. bring a baggie with you for keeping the stretched pennies. and decide now if you will give into the quarter stretching machines - there are several around that cost 1.25 and you stretch a quarter instead of a penny. sheesh! we did one quarter at TOT and then only pennies.

Ashton got out his m&m tubes the other day and started putting money in it, when I asked what he was doing "saving money for disney, to put in the machine". After I showed him which two to keep, he had half a tube...

I can't believe we're down to just a couple of days!! I have a few things to do before we go:
1. do laundry (tomorrow)
2. clean the house
3. mow the lawn (wednesday)
4. pack the clothes and make sure everything is organized.
5. get the numbers off of the back of the tickets and email them to my parents and ourselves so we have them in case something happens to the tickets

Hopefully I won't forget Duncan's jammies like I did this weekend for my parents house. lol
