I am having fun catching up on your report! We arrive at the world shortly after you leave. We are getting APs as well and are planning a year of Disney.

I keep poking around the pre-trip reports looking for people going when we are - so now I am considering a pre-trip report. However, I didn't finish my last trip report - so I am worried about my follow through

I don't think I finished my last TR either. It was so cold in Feb 2010 and it just wasn't super fun. It was ok but I was pregnant and sick and I think Madeline got sick.

I actually can't wait to start my April 2012 PTR. That one should be fun to write cause I have no idea what we're doing yet.

Thursday June 9- AK
I'm really looking forward to this day! I think FIL will really like it too. Neither MIL nor FIL have ever been here.

8 am Tusker House breakfast. This is Eric's favorite because of Donald and the food!

9am Safari
Get EE fastpasses
meander through some of the trails
ride Dinosaur and the Dinosaur Dumbo
Lion King is a must do
Kilamanjaro Safari will also be nice I'm sure
We also love all of the character greetings here
we'll try to see the bird show. We haven't done this in a very long time.

I just realized AK is open til 8pm this day. I also made an ADR for Boma in case we wanted to do that.

Friday, June 10 DHS
The plan as of now is to hit Star Wars weekend again this day. I have a before park opening ADR for the Playhouse Disney character meal. However, if we saw all the Star Wars things we wanted to the previous day I think we'll head to Epcot this day and go to DHS Tuesday.

If we head to DHS we'll go to the breakfast and then play it by ear.

If we go to Epcot then we'll do the Soarin' rush and Test Track. We'll try to get to the countries but MIL's plane leaves at 5pm so we'll have to head out early to take her to the airport.

This is our last Disney day of the trip. We'll leave early the next morning to drive back home. I'm sure I'll be ready by then.

sounds like excellant plans! I do not think we have ever taken the time for the bird show at AK; if we did in 2001 I don't remember it. Sounds like everything is coming together for you guys! it is getting so close!!1

I think the only time I've seen the bird show was shortly after AK opened. I thought I saw it with Eric on our honeymoon but he says we didn't. I'm not really a huge fan of birds. I'm pretty terrified of walking throught those places that have birds just flying around and landing on you. I'm not really scared of the birds per se but the POOP. lol At our zoo they have flying birds in with the penguins and the one time I was watching them a bird pooped on me. I almost threw up! SOOOOOOO gross! The zoo doesn't have paper towels so I had to try and clean off with a napkin from one of the restaurants.

So that is the main reason I haven't been in any hurry to see the bird show recently.

Today's drama is brought to us by Tinkerbell. Madeline was asking about meeting Silvermist and why she didn't meet her with Tink last time. I think told her they closed TInk's house and she freaked. NOT because of Tinks house but because of the "desserts" they had there. She was talking about the gift shop with with the cupcakes that you see upon exiting. I had to assure here we could get a cupcake elsewhere.

She is my drama queen!

I thought they were moving the fairies to Epcot we need to check into that...you will be able to build up her excitment for their new location

I think the faiiries are at Epcot just until F&G is over. I'm not sure where they'll be after that.

In other news I don't think I'll be taking the girls trip to FL. But, I have just about convinced Eric to go Sept 24- Oct 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I even made an ADR for Le Chefs!

Ok I now have ADR's for both Le Chefs and Via Napoli for September. LOL I wanted to get a Tusker House for Eric but nothing was available. Looks like no before park opening ADR"s when we're there in Sept. That's ok we'll save money on Breakfast this time.

Oh and he's 99% sure we'll go. I wonder if I can get him committed to that before the night is done.

OK we are officially booked for September 24-October 1 at the Sheraton Vistana Resort. We thought we'd try this one and then decide between it and Mariott Harbour Lakes for next April.

It would be awesome if we could meet up. ARe you guys doing MNSSHP? I think there's 1 night while we're there.

I just made a neat rotating ticker for my trips. I had to leave the days left until one up so I know when to make ADR's for next April. I need think about where we should go when. I think we're planning on going to Universal and Sea World also. We'd also like to get to Kennedy Space Center.

the MNSSHP will be the Tue and Fri that week; we will be changing to the Tuesday night! I am sure but not positive that we will plan to meet somewhere to catch the second parade together for those of us going...but, that is not set in stone as we still need to change our booking Monday. We also have a planned meet on Friday night for Illuminations by France. You need to stop by the group PTR and join us in the planning

I'll have to go check out the schedule. I'm not sure if we'll go to MNSSHP. Eric wasnt' impressed last time. The parade is awesome though!

Eric said that I can take Madeline to MNSSHP while he and Duncan hang out at the resort. It will be a nice mommy/daughter thing.

I've been gathering all of our stuff together. I had Duncan try on his summer clothes and it's all too big for him so I bought some smaller stuff. I've been piling it in a suitcase. IF he ever decides to nap I can get more organized.

I added a reservation for The Plaza on Monday for lunch in case we decide to be there and a Le Chefs on Tuesday if we're at Epcot. Our ADR's are now
Saturday: Sci Fi lunch
Sunday: Barbershop and then Plaza lunch
Monday: Plaza lunch
Tuesday: Le Chefs lunch
Wednesday: CP breakfast
Thursday: TH breakfast
Friday: H&V breakfast

I think we may end up doing split days on Sunday and Monday. We'll do MK in the morning on Sunday and then maybe head over to Epcot after our break. On Monday I'm thinking MK in the morning and then head over to Downtown Disney in the afternoon. Maybe we'll end up doing CS at DD for lunch or supper this day.

Wednesday we'll have to stay and see the fireworks and electrical parade at MK. Maybe we'll have a nice long break this day.

We're heading to MI tomorrow. Eric's cousin is getting married. It will be our practice for driving to FL. It's a 5 hour trip and I'm not looking forward to it. We'll also be trying out the new travel bed we got for the kids. I hope Duncan will sleep in it!

19 days! I need to figure out how to stop the mail for the week we're gone. I completely forgot about doing that. FIL usually picks it up for us and since he's coming with that won't be an option!

I'm starting to pack. The 2 days between Memorial day and when we leave are going to be BUSY! We'll be at my parents for Mem. weekend so can't pack too much before the Tuesday after. I've got a million things going around in my head and feel very unorganized. I have a giant pile of stuff in my entry way just waiting to be packed and organized.

ANTS! They have invaded my house. My wonderful mom said she's going to come today and help me get rid of them. I just dont' have time sine I have a very busy almost 10 month old that won't nap! I love my mom!

We have dress reahearsal for M's ballet recital today and tomorrow is the recital. I can't wait for this weekend to be over!
