Sorry it took me so long to get back on, I lost your post and haven't quite figured all this DIS stuff out yet Glad to hear you guys liked Windsor Hills, we are a little nervous. This being our first trip and being offsite we hope that it doesn't take any of the magic away!!

I think we're going to do either Chefs or Tutto for date night. Then we can stay for Illuminations if we want. Last time we had datenight we did Whispering CC and then headed to the MK for spectro and some rides.

How is everyone doing? I don't have much going on at this point as far as trip planning goes. I should be concentrating on losing weight. Madeline is home from school sick today. She has a fever but no other symptoms. It's odd. Duncan is currently in his crib CIO. I'm trying to sleep train him a bit. He doesn't yet sleep in his crib but I want him to. Too bad Madeline keeps trying to go in his room. haha I bought a baby einstein music thingy for the crib... it has a remote so I can restart it if need be without being seen. I think I'll let him go about 5 minutes... it's been 2 or 3 at this point.

I think I've got our ADR's figured out. I wonder if I'll get any of them though since I believe it's still free dining when we're there and all of those people get to make them before we can.

for the sleep training, its so hard sometimes! We did a bit of CIO with Henry too-just 5-10 minute intervals, as long as he wasn't hysterical. That, along with a regular schedule (every 3 hours cycle), worked awesome. He still is a great napper!

I hope you can get all your ADRs!

Thanks for coming to check in Connie. It's a bit lonely here but I don't blame anyone for not chatting since there isn't much planning going on right now. I'm actually doing more research on our 2012 trip. We'll be staying at our beloved harbour lake again but we want to stay an additional week so I've been checking out the Bonnet Creek thread.

I might order Madeline a princess dress from the Disney store since they just went to 40% off. Which one should I get?

Also I just reread the email from my MIL is it says she won't be coming til the 6th which is the Monday of our trip. So I'm rethinking which day we'll take as our day off.

I've been off the DIS lately, and when I'm on it's only for a couple minutes...attempting to get caught up!

Princess dress...hmmm....I really like Tiana's! And though, not a princess, I do think the Alice dress is very sweet! Let us know what you pick!

sleep training isn't going so well but he is napping better... in his carseat. haha We discovered a couple of days ago that he has reflux so he's on meds now. hopefully that will also help with the sleeping situation. Right now he can't really sleep flat.

We're gonna get Tiana. I like Rapunzel but it's still full price.

dunan is the spitting image of Madeline. I often wonder what he'll look like at 3 years old. i'm thinking about matching up all of Madeline's old 8x10's with his in the hallway or something. I think it might be cute.

Lets talk ADR's a minutes.

Since Eric's mom won't be there until sometime that Monday I have to rethink a couple of them.

Saturday MGM- none
Sunday MK- was going to do Crystal Palace but am rethinking. I need to aske MIL if she'd rather eat with characters or see the opening show
Monday Epcot- MIL arrives so we might move this to Tuesday no ADR's
Tuesday off day or Epcot -- Tutto with Eric for date night I think
Wednesday- MK Crystal Palace
Thursday- AK Tusker house breakfast
Friday- MGM

I need to ask MIL what to do... or rather have Eric ask her. I don't feel like pestering her. I don't think she understands the whole need for ADR thing.

I talked to my MIL yesterday a little bit about meals. She didn't seem to care either way. So here's what I'm thinking

Sat- no ADR's
Sun- CP breakfast
Mon- none
Tuesday- none
Wednesday- CP breakfast (I'm going to decide later but I'm leaning towards Sunday)
Thursday- TH breakfast
Friday- Sci-Fi for lunch maybe

we still need to decide what we'll do for date night. We had a really nice meal at a Mexican restaurant this past weekend for our anniversary so now Eric kind of wants to eat the the new Mexican restaurant in Epcot. Otherwise I was thinking of maybe something at Downtown Disney.

I went to Target today. I wanted to see if they had any adult size Obi Wan costumes for Eric. That's what he's planning on dressing as for SWW. They didn't but half of the dollar section was disney stuff. I got tons of princess things for Madeline and even a Cars thing for Duncan. I think it will be stocking stuffers and I'll save some of it for the drive down to Florida. They had some really cute stuff.

Madeline's princes Tiana dress came in the mail the other day. NOw I have to go search the Web for an Asoka costume and Jedi costume. I'm considering a little Yoda costume for Duncan but I don't want him to get too hot. I'm not wearing anything... mayb a Star Wars shirt.

The new Mexican place looks so, so pretty - and has good reviews so far, so that might be a wonderful date spot, complete with Illuminations.

I completely planned on hitting up some of the costume shops yesterday for steep discounts on the costumes, but I didn't get there, maybe today....I hope you can find what you need!

I ended up finding a Darth VAder and a Princess Leia costume for half off. So instead of Ahsoka and Obi Wan Eric and Madeline will be Darth and Leia. Eric said "it's cool cause now I can say, Leia I am your father". lol

After reading your TR I now think maybe we'll do Wished dessert party for out date night.

It's been a long time since I updated this. My laptop died a slow and painful death so I"ve been banished to the desktop for now. For some reason disboards logs me off after like 5 minutes and it's a pain to have to log in all the time. Anyway....

It was ADR time last week. I only got a few and will probably cancel some in the coming months but for now we have:
June 4th DHS day Playhouse Disney breakfast and SciFi lunch
June 5th MK day Crystal palace breakfast and the Plaza lunch
June 7th Date night.. Wolfgang Puck
June 9th AK Donalds Safari breakfast

I had absolutely no trouble getting the 8am time slot for the breakfasts. I was kind of suprised since all of the resort guests had a few days time advantage on me.

Eric's mom is planning on joining us sometime on Monday the 6th so depending on flight times our off day may end up being Monday instead of Tuesday.

That is surprising to get the 8 am Crystal Palace!! Donalds Safari Breakfast is high on my list for places to try...if its anything like Boma breakfast, it will be great!

Donalds is our favorite breakfast buffet. The food is yummy and I like how the restaurant is set up. Donald is Eric's favorite character too so that makes him happy.

I've been shopping Amazon's toy deals for Christmas this year and the other day picked up Star Wars walkee Talkee's for Eric and Madeline. I can't wait to give them to them for their costumes.

Madeline has her ride strategy all set up. She knows what rides we're going on first and who she's sitting by on said rides. haha She also had a doctor appointment 2 weeks ago and is officially 40 inches without shoes. She'll be able to ride everything except MS, RNR, Everest. I'm sure she'll be around 42 inches with shoes by June.

Well I don't think anyone is still reading... maybe Brook. Not much planning going on here at the moment. I have the ADR's set.

I need to start thinking about our tickets. I know I"m going to get them through undercover tourist, it's just a matter of when. I think I"m going to go with 7 day hoppers and then upgrade them once there.

Duncan got ear tubes this week so we are now starting sleep training with him since he is no longer in pain from laying flat. He slept in his crib for the very first time last night. We'll see how tonight goes.

I started Weight watchers on Thursday. My goal is to loose 40 pounds by our trip. Hopefully I can do it. By this time next year I hope to be at my goal.

So I don't want to buy any Disney shirts or whatever for myself yet since I hope to need a couple sizes smaller by then.

I was thinking of getting a new car DVD player for our trip down but my MIL is notorious for breaking things so I think we'll wait on that til after we're back. Madeline did get a bunch of new games for her leapster and books for her TAG so she should have plenty to keep her occupied on the way down.

I need to call the barber shop cause Madeline wants her hair cut there again. I don't think Duncan will need his 1st haircut yet but we'll see. Maybe I'll make an appointment for him just in case.
