I love the idea of them dressing up! Of course, dressing up in June -- Yikes!! Hopefully you can come up with lightweight ways to make them look like the characters and not melt in there!
Wonder if Eric would be happy with a great iron on transfer that you could have made here on the dis. That may be a cooler idea!
can't wait to hear what type of ADR's you guys go for this round!!
maybe your in-laws will tell you to plan and have fun and they are along for the ride and will enjoy whatever you decide to plan for

To BBB or not, that is the question.
Madeline is now old enough to do the BBB. I always said I would NOT pay for that. I still think it's crazy expensive for what you get but I know Madeline would love it. I'm hoping grandma wants her to do it and insists so much tha she pays for it.
So what are everyone's opinions on BBB?
While I do think it is a fortune, I think if you have a little girl who likes being a princess it's worth every penny. I might cut down on a birthday or Christmas present to make it happen, but we'd do it. I really like gifts of experiences and not stuff because goodness knows there is plenty of "stuff" in my house right now.
I'd also not try to wait until they were "old enough to appreciate" because my friend's daughter was past the princess phase by then.
Joining in! Your kids are too stinkin' cute!
Congrats on DS!
You're going to love the Dolphin!!! I've stayed there a lot and we all just love it! Let me know if you have any Qs about it.
Subbing!

I've eaten at GG twice. Food was o.k both times. There are other places I recommend much more on the BW. One time Goofy and Pluto were out and about there and the second time we had Timon and Rafiki. They alternate. The menu alternates, too. Our first time we had bbq and that was very good. The 2nd time we were there on I think it's called seafood night. They might have an extra dessert but thats all. The restaurant is actually at the Swan which is a 5 minute covered walk. Seafood night was very disappointing. I would call the Swan directly to make the ADR. Disney doesn't own it but you can still make ADRs from them they just won't be able to tell you what the menu is for that night. Peekabos at the Dolphin has some great value family meals. Peekabos is always very quiet when we eat there. There is a TS service at the Dolphin that doesn't accept ADRs but they can always seat you very quickly. It's a fun TS with CS prices. I'm drawing a name for the blank right now. Thanks Barbara. I'm sure I'll have some questions about the Dolphin. Have you ever eaten at the Garden Grove? I'm thinking about it but would want to eat there on Friday night but that's seafood buffet night which will not be acceptable to Eric at all. Do they have other things besides what's on the actual menu on the buffet?
Also, we'll have me, Eric, FIL, Madeline and Duncan in the room. Would there be enough room for a full size aero bed type thing in the room? I really don't want Madeline sharing a bed with FIL and I don't think a double bed will be big enough for FIL and Eric to share. I'm hoping we get upgraded to something better but that's not a guarantee.

I doubt you'll be able to fit the extra bed and the crib that would really be tight. There is a small couch that she can sleep on.
Are you a starwood (Sheraton!) member? DH is a gold member from he travels on business so we always stay there for free and they do there best to upgrade us. It might be something to look into so you could possibly stay free at the Dolphin and then have Sheraton points for a free night on your way up and down to Florida.
Hope this helps!![]()
i made a reservation for my 8yr old to do the BBB on oct 5th, the day of MNSSHP. i figured she will all dressed up and ready for the Halloween party that night in MK, i only got the 50$ package, bought the dress and shoes here . so the 50 includes hair makeup & nails. i think its great for them to go into the castle and dress up as their favorite princess. you can cut costs and get the cheaper package just for the experience. make them feel the the princessesthey are! lol../ my daughter and i are SUPER excited about it.
i thinks its anouther magical addition to disney,![]()
Now that we are done having kids I know that I'll only have 1 girl. I think that's why I'm considering BBB now. But I know that we will be back in 2012 too so I'm wondering if I should just wait. If I don't wait I'm worried Madeline will expect it 2 years in a row.I'm in! We are arriving at Disney the same day you are leaving! I would definitely do the BBB, but I have 2 older boys, so for my DD's 3rd we are going & we are doing it! No ifs, ands or buts about it! I can't wait to read more!!!!
