What a great way to wrap up your trip report! There is nothing like a trip to Goofy's to send you off with a smile!
I wish I had some of that toffee right now.
How great that you were able to walk over and meet Diane! The DIS is such a great place to make the nicest friends!
Honestly, I have friends here at home, but I would be so sad without you all!
Oh I am wishing for a piece of that toffee right now too!!! I can't wait to see the goodies in Disney Land!!!
I hope we get to travel with WigD and co. again, soon!!!!
Loved your trip report! Can't wait for the Disneyland PTR!
Aw! Thanks! It was so fun to write! I can't believe it took me that long LOL!, but I want to go back and enjoy all the pics myself!!!!!!!
I bought the last buzz and woody together ornament from the Christmas Store at DTD... and remember when you said in this report you got one, so cute, I can't wait to put it on the tree. I had to actually get one with the personalized year on it... it was it for that ornament.
I have truly loved your report... and seeing the bc makes me crazy to be back there! Looking forward to your trip out west ptr!
Thanks so much Laura!!! Yes, I think that is the cutest one too!!! I am on the look out for the REX ornament next, hoping I can find it in Disneyland or in Dec when we go for the training.... I am going to do a little Disney tree this christmas downstairs, and I can't wait!!!!
more comments later but just have to say....we can always find room for one more....
OH I cannnot tell you how tempting that is. Seriously. But MAY is the worst time for me to be gone, b/c of work! Only Memorial day is there a chance! And Spring break is SO late this year I can't believe it!!!!
I love that because you got rest/swim/relaxation time the boys are not completely zombies and are still happy and have some energy left.
It was fun to be able to leave with a smile, I do admit, but now, I am a big BOO HOO!!!!
Goofy's candy bags are nice for bringing back treats for my classes. Gummy stuff is exciting to start with, but when it is in a Goofy's bag, it becomes even moreso.
Awesome magnet. I will be on the lookout for that one in October.
Thanks for sharing your family and your trip with us. Never let me miss out on a Happydog report. I love them!
I will make sure you get my "mickey signal" for the ptr!!!
And that Magnet I love, too! I found it in the shop outside of Snow White... I forget which one that is...
We'll make it do DC eventually whether it is this summer or some other time. I would really like to find a time when hotels are not an arm and a leg. Is there an off season in the city?
Make sure you look for the gingerbread house in the Haunted Mansion -- I think it is in the ballroom scene. Every time I see pictures of it, it makes me want to take a trip there. LOL!
Ugh. DC is probably expensive all the time, but consider finding a hotel in MD, right off of the metro line. In Bethesda? Not necessarily cheaper, I don't know, but there is a Hyatt and a Marriot, right in front of the metro access... look for MD or VA hotels, near metro, b/c you can ride the metro right into the areas you would want to visit, and it might be less chaotic, too...in areas like that there are always good places to walk around and get food, etc. Arlington? Also an area near the Pentagon, Crystal City, I think they call it -- business area, but may have more reasonable hotels than right in the city center...
Oh I will start scouring my Disneyland book, DON'T worry!!!!
