The Ingredients for Pixie Dust, a June 2010 TR - 10/2 DIsney Halloween PTR started!

Thanks for the name of the wine. Sorry I missed it the first time. I will look for it at the liquor store and see if I can find it!

So on the Tutto outside tables... they are only for walk-up? So you can't get there for an ADR and ask to be seated outside? Or you could but it would be the same as just walking up and asking?

I'm looking forward to trying Tutto in October. I have it booked for my "farewell" dinner on the last night. I'm hoping to try the pizzaria while there too!

Great evening at Epcot!
We only did the KP mission in China, but will do a few this trip.
Wine and gelato at Tutto's sounds fabulous!

I just now noticed the shirt that DS5 was wearing on your MK morning. LOL!

YES!!!! :goodvibes Someone had good taste!!!! :) Griffin wore the one I bought him on the Cruise (it has the pirate ship and Davy Jones) And Nolyn was wearing one of his FAVORITE shirts, courtesy of YOU and Connor!!

I agree that the KP mission in England is my favorite one!!! I wish I had video of Connor's interaction in the tea shop! My favorite moment of a KP mission EVER!!!

Love that DS is in your Illuminations photos -- so neat! I love that show! That was the CD I bought this trip! The music always gives me goosebumps!

England was very fun, the boys really liked all the stops -- especially the end behind the flats! I am sure as the imagineers came up with these ideas they just kept getting better and better -- know what I mean? They had to top themselves!!

Illuminations has such nice music!, I agree!!! :goodvibes They played Spectro and Wishes too... I hadn't heard that since February so it was nice to hear it again!

What a great idea to have wine and gelato outside at Tutto's! Of course, I love that restaurant so much that anything that includes it is a great idea in my mind. :lmao:

LL, I agree with Happydog! Do your mission before or after dinner -- we did ours after dinner, and it worked out perfectly. Also, you can request which country -- since we had done so many of them before, we made sure we had a new country this time.

Well I have to thank you for the extra push to make an ADR there -- it was so worth it (obviously!!!) and they were totally fine with us just having dessert and wine... it was late enough I guess... but the place was still pretty busy, and there were other tables doing the same thing outside.

No problem! I hope you can find it! I was going to ask around at a few wine specialty shops... I was surprised we couldn't buy it at the Italy wine shop there in Epcot, so I wasn't sure if there was some other reason... anyhow, it is quite tasty! with the tables, no, I don't believe you could get the ADR for outside.... I say that because we were able to "book" an ADR for a table at Tutto's -- it was at 8:15 or something, we were going to consider it over Tokyo Dining, but only if we could sit outside... but when we asked about the outside seating they said you have to add your name to the outside dining area list and not the main dining room... not sure why? I think there might be more to it than that, but at that point we just decided to go with dinner in Japan, and try our chances there for dessert, etc... and as luck would have it, we were able to get a spot outside with not too long of a wait, so it worked out afterall...

They are great fun! We had a good time with the boys. Your nephews will definitely enjoy the KP missions!!!!

When Connor outgrows his new shirt from this trip, we will send it your way, too. Unless you already have it -- we bought the orange one where Mickey is in silhouette against a car with a surf board on top.

I will have to remember that for future trips! I am really excited to try out the new restaurant -- have you seen the pictures of the volcano ovens? Too cute!

Oh my goodness. :rotfl: I took a photo of that shirt, a la MeMom shopping photos, because I really resisted getting it -- it is ADORABLE!!! I thought it was too cute, so tell Connor he has excellent taste in shirts!!! So yes, we will gladly take your Disney cast offs.... :worship: :goodvibes

I hadn't looked at the pics too closely, no, but I love the idea of a volcano oven in Italy, Vesuvius I guess??!

You have to go into this phone booth, and a golf ball shoots our for you to take on your next stop...

summer2010454.jpg

I would have to have the door open,
so my golf ball would probably shoot out onto the road,
and chasing it down would become an adventure in itself!

I took a picture of a couple of little girls doing the mission at that butterfly spot on one trip. We have yet to do a mission of our own. :headache:

Great minds!!! :lmao:

There are three of them -- Vesuvius, Etna, and Stromboli.

Wow! I can't wait to eat there. I think reservations open this week. I may have to try for an ADR for October...

They do open up next week! :thumbsup2

Do it! Be the first in our group to eat there and bring back a report! :goodvibes

Oh too cool! I hadn't paid much attention, They look really neat! Ah yes Mt. Etna. I have been there! It is amazing. There is a tram you can take up. Really really interesting!

Christine you must check it out for us!!!!! :thumbsup2

I bet Brooklynn would love them! The KP missions are a hoot.

I could see that ball shooting out... It really surprised us!

how late do the KP missions go?

I think right up to the end... as long as you get your phone... by 8:30? I think... they are all tied to the phones... so once you have it, then you are in charge of the pace/time... We had one in hand before dinner, but didn't actual do the mission until after.... we finished the England Mission at 9pm. And must have gotten the phone close to 8:30... or we got it before drinks at Tutto's.... I can't remember because they have the phone in their hand... but we definitely must have asked for England, then, b/c we wanted to do that one before Illuminations... so pretty late I guess.

Hi!!! Yep! I was there! We'll have to see about the photos!!! Glad you came on over!

Well, I got it off of Mablio Ringtones... It was an APP listed on my Nexus One, which is an android phone. But it might not be only for those types of phones -- I dont know what you have. Look it up on google? I searched "Disney" and found it -- I have spectro for one ring, a WallE sound for my notification sound, and there are lots others! :thumbsup2

Whew! Finally caught up! Then I wrote this whole response and my computer just shut down as I was typing and I lost it all! :headache:

Well, I'm not going to retype it all (mainly b/c I can't remember it all!) but I did want to say:

Your boys are just too stinkin' cute! And, I love their silly faces!!

Thanks for the info on the ringtone. I went and tried to do it but couldn't figure out how to get it directly to my phone. I even recorded the music onto my phone from a video on youtube, but the quality is poor so I'm not using it.

Your feelings about those light up swords echo mine! We ended up getting them for our girls after two days of DD6 driving us crazy for them. Of course, my cousin had gotten them for her kids and they were staying with us.

You mentioned the TSM FP's being replaced because the ride was shut down one night, the same thing happened to us. I wonder if it was on the same night? Well, I guess I'll have to keep reading to find out! :thumbsup2

Your upcoming travel plans sound great! Can't wait to read about those trips, too! :goodvibes

Wow - great updates!! Great luck with those extra FPs at MK! :thumbsup2

I want to try the KP mission in England! We've done Japan & Germany - both were fun - I liked Germany better even though I didn't get to do all of it but England sounds really fun - I skimmed over most of your description to save the surprise!

Love the pictures of your DS on the trash can during Illuminations!

Newbie here! Just wanted to say I love your TR and have finally caught up! I'm taking notes of all the great snacks and adult beverages so I can try them in 2 weeks!!! I'm also thinking of trying the KP Mission but I have 4 kids and I"'m afraid they'll just fight over who gets to hold the phone!popcorn::

So this morning we woke up bright and early, with the goal of getting to Disney Hollywood Studios for rope drop!! I went to get my coffee and sat outside for a few minutes before the sun came all the way over the tree tops. Here is my view!

After a bit, DH was in the shower, I woke the boys up and got them some cereal…

We all made our way out to the boats around 8:30…

Here we are on our way – some of the scenery as we boated away!!!

DH is "vogue-ing" here...

The Hollywood Studios Sorcerer’s Hat -- and the blue sky that hints at the heat we had that morning!

summer2010486.jpg

Once at DHS, we made our way to TSM, where we all queued up to ride... I grabbed a set of FPs before I hopped into line!

I can't wait to be in Disneyland this October!

random game pieces!

After our spin on TSM, DH and DS8 went to RNRC. DS5 and I first hit the great movie ride, there was NO line. DS5 really likes this one, so we went while we waited for dad and big brother. He was listening to the CM and looking around, and was really curious about the “alien” and then wanted to know why the man “disappeared when he hit the red button on the tomb wall”.. LOL! We had the gangster CM this time, I think I like the cowboy story line better, but all I know is that the end is the best! :thumbsup2

DS showing me his Chinese Lion statue face...

Goofy's square in front of the theater!

summer2010495.jpg

We then went to the playground, where DS8 and DH met us. I take pics here all the time, so I refrained for once, but I did get this fun one down the slide!!!

summer2010497.jpg

The boys arrived shortly after and we headed up to Star Tours and a show!!!

COMING UP in the NEXT POST!!!!

Once we were back together again, we all headed over to Star Tours (have to get it in while we could since they are closing it for the new ride sequence!) and then we decided to see the Indiana Jones Adventure show… since it timed out well, we could walk right in. We catch this every trip. The guys love it. But it was the first time I even thought to take photos... I wish I had started earlier! there is so much to see at the beginning sequence! Ah well, it was a feast for the eyes as always! Here are a few shots of the action!

After Indy, we hit the Muppets 3D movie (always funny, even though it is a little outdated ) and then we decided on Pizza Planet for lunch. Although I don’t remember eating here before, and the pizza wasn’t anything to write home about, I do like that the pizzas here come with salad! We ordered the pizza with salad combos for everyone. I was a little surprised, but DH and I ate the salad that came with our lunch and the boys’… did I say we were veggie craved!?! :rotfl: The meals come with cookies and rice crispie treats, so we split two cookies, and took the rest back to the room for later... Here we are “cooling off with the snowman” whom we said hello to after lunch!

summer2010513.jpg

Evidently DS5 decided he was actually a mountain to scale....

summer2010515.jpg

And DS8 being silly with the fountain umbrella. I think he captured this one pretty well! :thumbsup2

summer2010517.jpg

A glance as we crossed the Streets of America -- it sure does look like a NYC view on a summer afternoon!

summer2010518.jpg

The heat really didn’t inspire us to stop and visit with Mater or Lightening, though we walked past, and so we decided to cash in on one of our TSM FPs -- we had already been by a second time to get another set. We thought to catch the backlot tour. But they had just started another show and we were not feeling the wait on this day, even though I am a sucker for this one. I like it!

DS8, however, did not like the steam that came from this truck out front!!!

summer2010519.jpg

So after our TSM ride, and with another set of FPs in our hands for later, we decided to spend the better part of the day at the pool, with the plan to return to DHS after dinner for the ride and Fantasmic! Which I noticed had two showings that evening. :yay:

Sooo…. Off to the pool we went! :thumbsup2

BEACH CLUB REVISITED... AGAIN... :rotfl:

Back at the Beach Club, we changed into our suits, and headed to the POOL!

Here are the boys hanging out in the sand and playing in the water... DS8 brought down a big bag of army men, and found a spot to set up base...

DH helped the boys dig trenches…. I tell you they never grow up! Here he is telling me what he thinks of me taking photos of him…:rolleyes1

kidsandstuff065.jpg

Though it clouded up a little, it didn't stick around...

kidsandstuff067.jpg

DH and I enjoyed a few tangerine dreams… and relaxing the afternoon away was pleasant. DH took both boys to get ice cream at Beaches and Cream, gotta love those snack credits! And we pretty much watched the pool clear out for dinner. We had our second ressie at Le Cellier this evening at 7:20, so we didn’t need to rush anything. We had a nice afternoon, and again it just reminds me how perfect a resort the Beach Club is for my family.... :goodvibes

When it was time to go, we had to pick up the pieces of the battle... it wasn't a pretty sight...

kidsandstuff064.jpg

I tossed the boys in the bath...

summer2010522.jpg

DH and I enjoyed the patio while the two ducklings were in the tub – they LOVE those big tubs in the villas! Entertainment!!!

A quiet moment and a glass of wine!

summer2010524.jpg

Let me say if there was a bubble above this man's head it would be something I couldn't print here...

summer2010526.jpg

With everyone cleaned up, we headed over to Epcot… Le Cellier was calling!

COMING UP NEXT! LE CELLIER DINNER and a DHS Fantasmic finale!
