Best ride in universal????? Is it the hulk, duling dragons, spidey, etc.... You know I hear so much great stuff about the hulk, from my close friend Metsfan11 is it really that great?

IMO it's very very good. It's not the tallest or the fastest but its launch and combination of elements, effects and g forces make it practically at the top of my list of favorite steel coasters. I'd only possibly rank Apollo's Chariot at BG Willamsburg higher of the coasters I've ridden.

Note I haven't ever been to Ohio, however ;)

"Universal question"....... I love the hulk & all I can tell you is, ride it in the front row for your first time. Duling Dragons also, first row & Spidey as well. Good luck Ametsfan18 & have a blast!!!

"Everything looks good! I think, I think this time is going to work"
-----WARNING COOLANT LEVELS DROPPING-----
The Hulk at Islands of Adventure :goodvibes

and after you ride in the front row...ride in the back row for the best g forces

Definately get there early and spend the time to ride front row. it is well worth it :smooth:

wherever you sit, put up your hands before the ride even starts so you get the neg G's as yougo over the first hill

I love the hulk!!!!! I have rode several rollercoasters at several parks and it my fave. Dueling dragons and spiderman are great too. We do them all several times while there. :goodvibes

Have to honestly say that this was one of the best coasters I have ever been on. The shot right at the beginning is beyond description. We waited to ride the front after getting a spot in the middle, and it was well worth it! We got off the right and felt a natural high! We then rode right in the back and the difference was amazing! I recommend this ride to everybody - it was awesome!

We finally just got to ride in the front. It was awesome. I love this ride.

They have some great rides at BG in williamsburg don't they! I love apollos chariot too. :goodvibes

Yes, Hulk is really incredible. You need to ride in the front, and the park opens earlier than those up north. When you come down, show up at 8am and wait at the gate. Run to Hulk, and ride in the front, then the back.
Same thing with Dueling Dragons, you need to ride each in the front.

It may not be the fastest launch compared to TTD or KK, but you go up and do a zero-G roll right out of the tunnel.

Is the Hulk one of those rollercoasters with the over-the-shoulder bars and corkscrews? Typically those type of coasters make me feel like I've been beaten up. Please tell me this is a gentler ride....

It is a B&M coaster so it does have over the shoulder restraints...t IMO it's not too much of a headbanging ride...even if it is to others, if you like coasters at all, you have to go on it

I agree, this coaster is amazing!!! After I got off, my legs were shaking for about 5 minutes!!!

I don't think that it beats you up. I have been on rides like that and this didn't feel like that to me. I loved it. :goodvibes

The Hulk is not the best. But it is certainly very good. The themeing is top notch, the take off is all time, and the ride...smooth as silk. I love the cars, as they go around the track they "roar". I think its a combo of the drag on the train and the shape of the cars. Not a rough ride, but not for the faint of heart. Best coaster in Orlando, yes...better than RockinRollerCoaster.

Think about it people! You must ride Hulk in the last seat possible in order to experience the longest "launch"! :scared1: If you sit in the front, you are at the top of the "tube" when it launches you and it's over before you know it :(
My ears have hurt from banging the sides of the restraint bar :scared:

The back you get the most air time and the longest launch for sure, but in the front you get the most g forces and you feel the turns more than in the back. At least thats my experience with it.
