I cannot believe the price increase in the Eastbound Panama cruise, for my family, on a like for like basis, including the Dreams discount the price now quoted on the Website is $2,500 more!

Proves the saying 'the early bird catches the worm' and all the people who booked on May 5th, obtained a VERY good deal!

Perception is an amazing thing... I'd take a vacation in the UK over a Disney trip almost anyday! London is by far my favorite city!!! I think you both are so lucky to live over there!

Erin :D

We booked an Eastbound repo cruise on May 5th in a Cat. 5. The price we paid is currently what the Cat. 11 is going for. We saved almost $2,000. My DH thought I was crazy calling at noon that day but now he is quite happy.

Our Category 7 is now $3600 more PLUS we got a $200 onboard credit with All Seasons. So it is $3800. My parents Category 11 is now $2000 more.
Not to mention this is U.S. dollars!!! Not Canadian pesos :)

Cheers,
Grumbo

P.S. Natdencro... You and Dave need to save for your cross country rail trip with your stay at Grumbo acres :)

Our category 10 is $3600 more!!!! I feel really lucky to be going on this cruise for the price I got.

And callled DCL myself!

Our price has almost doubled! Unbelievable!

Tell us the dates and we'll be on holidays for it.
BTW the shops ARE closed that week for inventory but otherwise you'll have a great time ;)
Let Dave know there are a couple of beers or more in the fridge and we can relax while you two shop til you drop :)

Cheers,
Grumbo

We do grumble a lot in London re transport and congestion, but thats the same as any large city.

But we do have some fantastic sights all in a small space from the London Eye to Buckingham palace to Westminster and the Tower.

We do take it a bit too much for granted,

at the weekend I can take the two kids to London visit the free museums, and it costs just £4!

Bit cheeper than DCL.

We have had some good weather as well recently

I'm from NY originally, and now live in DC, so the expense in London seems reasonable! Not to mention, I live for cold & wet weather! The only problem that I've ever had in London with people was my own - stepped off the curb and looked the wrong way (forgot I wasn't at home!). I was cursed at, but oh well, it sounded like something I might actually want to try when said with a British accent ;) !!!

.... and you have the coolest ghost stories! It's just a breathtakingly beautiful city, and country, too! It's the same with DC though, I work two blocks from the White House and there are days I don't even notice it when I walk past. It's amazing what people can get used to!

You are right Andrew: London is brilliant value for some things - and it's a holidaymakers dream: SO much to do and see, in just a few square miles. We are only 75mins drive from London, and live by the sea. However, being able to sun myself under clear blue skies and wander around paradise islands in shorts/tee-shirts in February takes some beating! Im a BRIT through and through, but hey................ the pace of life on board is just what the doctor ordered in Winter. Sussex doesnt quite hold the same appeal!

And Grumbo.......................... We'll come when the shops are OPEN my friend!haha. Keep those beers cool! Nat:Pinkbounc
