Possibly closer than you think! I live in the 'burbs too, I just find for online it's easier to give people an idea of where we are in the world if I say Philadelphia! We're in Delco, Ridley Park.

Yeah, I get that, just didn't know exactly what you meant? If you are asking which P&S my album is, they were all taken with a Canon SX230 - I do have other albums taken with a Canon SX40 which most will call a 'bridge' camera but ultimately still a P&S in my view.

Just a lot of people ask me about my dSLR and kit and whether it take better pics, then I simply show them the results from P&S. Ultimately the difference between the P& results and dSLR results are not as great as me on a creative day vs non creative days (and for the record I have far more non creative days )

Ahhhhh! The good 'ol 230! Great camera and $ for $, and image for size, I think it's the best thing out there! I got the 260 too, so I could have two that did 1080 vid... but I still tend to use the 230.

As for your 40, I am eventually going for it's Lumix competitor, the FZ150 if the price ever drops!!!

As to results and creative days- if the camera isn't with you, you don't get the shot! And the 230 is ALWAYS with me.
