The "Im not going back again" trip report **update 8/27**

alright so the next day we were supposed to do Islands but decided to go to Universal. It made me nervous we didnt follow our "plan" of each park every other day, but whatever. Its fine as long as the kids were smiling, Jill was smiling.
We started with the boats at the beginning of the trip but ended going by bus the rest of the trip. It was a longer wait but there was always no one waiting and no one on the busses with us...and the air conditioning was unbelieable. anyway...heres the bus stop right outside of the Studios. And if you look through the fence you can see the back part where the celebrities and characters come out. We heard music one day and saw the Simpsons camper coming back. One of the Simpsons had their head off. You couldnt exactly take pictures as the fence was covered with vines and bushes but you could clearly see characters with no heads.

We walked one time this trip and I timed it. It was 7 minutes. We did stop a few times to get Ryan off of the ledges (hes a climber) but it was not a bad walk

This was our show day...any and all shows (except fear factor) was to be done. Our first one was Horror makeup show. I was relieved to see that they changed it up a bit and added some stuff...very interesting. We got there about 15 min before the show started. We were looking around and heard the TM holler at this kid. I turned around and saw her run over to him. This kid went past the red ropes to take a pic with the HHN clown and caretaker (undertaker) whatever hes called. Anyway I could not believe this TM was hollering so loud at this kid. She was an older lady, I wont say her name...unless you want me to. She said "Thats what the ropes are for" and "what kind of mother are you to let your kid do that" and "do you know how much these things cost" she went on and on. I said to my daughter "all that for crossing the rope to get a closer pic? she said no he was tugging on the clowns arm. The mom just stared at her like she couldnt believe this woman was freaking out like that. A few minutes later the mom went to the TM and asked her name. She hid her name with her finger, and the mom moved the ladys finger off of the her nametag and said she was reporting her. I can understand both sides so I wont defend either. But she was so loud. They argued for a while and the TM decided to call security and the mom and kids disappeared. They were letting us go in so we missed what happened...security did show up and came in the auditorium looking for the mom but i guess she high-tailed it out of there.

hes my favorite of the draculas in the show...hes been there since Ive been going and he never disappoints...

ok...i guess thats enough, there are actually other characters in the show but I didnt get any pics.
so then we hit mummy...my little dude is big enough to ride and has ridden before but prefers to play the video games right next door to the gift shop...so my big ds stayed with the little ds, and the girls went ride mummy.

Im gonna have to stop right now...its raining bad and screwing up my connection to the internet...

looking into buying stock in BandAID...the small round ones hide it perfectly

no, actually, an update of what im on this thread for...my trip or the fond memories of it.

it looks more like a pansy flower but they don't come in green or maybe a 4 leaf clover.


maybe it will be easier to have removed since it hasn't been on very long.

Tattoo aside ..... was the night worth it???? Gotta say I've had some pretty heavy nights but never woke up with a tat - go girl ... you rock!!!!

We actually dont have a PTA here. Go figure. I would like to think Im cool (my daughter would say otherwise lol) but I sure dont feel my age so why act it.

Thank...im getting used to it. You know I originally wanted one on my ankle...not a shamrock though. And I still will get one...my daughter and I are going when she turns 18 in a few months.

yeah you right about the pansy...but I thought a shamrock is the same as a 4 leaf clover. Is there a difference I dont know about?

IM not sure what day im on...they all run into each other when im on vacation. so Im going by the order my pics are in
I cant remember what day but the brazillian herds were plentiful and very agrivating, my daughter and I wanted to check out Portofino since we had never been. It was drizzling so I didnt know if they would close the pool. Ds would be very disappointed since I told him about the slide.
when we got there, a few pics were taken. notice the goggles (he wore them ALL FREAKIN DAY even at the parks

now this next pic you see ds standing near some little girls...cute pic, right? Right after that he flipped out ran to the water scaring the birds and those sweet little girls...some kid with goggles freakin out on the birds I was horrified. I grabbed him and tried to get the heck out of there.

the pool...(which was CLOSED)

so we decided to eat at Splenditos or Splendidios I dont care the name...but the pizza was the best (also the most expensive ive paid all week for pizza)

In between ordering and getting the food...the pool opens. Ryan shot out of the place and left us eating. Heres what Kaitlyn got
a buffalo chicken sand add cheese with onion rings

she didnt care for it...also it did not come with the buffalo sauce, when we asked for it...the waitress said when you add cheese to it they dont put the sauce.
So were done and go find Ryan at the pool.

Kaitlyn decides she wants to try the slide. She liked it (and FYI, she thought the area by the slide was deeper than the Hard Rock area by the slide)

The weather started to get a little clearer so we decided to head back to pick up other ds and on our way out I snapped a pic of the other pool

We head over to the bus stop and in a few minutes it was there to take us to Universal where we would meet Dustin...
we did a few rides...MIB, Simpsons, T2 and decided it was time for supper.
now heres where I put in my disclaimer *All the Reviews of Any and All Foods are MY OPINION ONLY* I know some people LOVE all the table service resturants at Uni but I didnt
Ok so this night we went to Pastamore. This was the worst place we ate at all week.
I had spaghetti with meatballs

Kaitlyn had fetachini with mushrooms and this is what it looked like when we were about to leave...still full

Ryan had pizza...I thought you couldnt mess up pizza...Guess what? you can

and Dustin had ravioli...(this is that exact same ravioli that he had at Lombards (review later)

ok thats it for now...my ride is coming to get me for pokeno... a night without the kids

It sure was...about 3 seconds after this pic was taken. somehow i just knew he would pull something with those girls. Now its really funny, since Ill never see that family again, hopefully

I was just looking at that... Where were they in this pic...i have no clue, but better believe when we got back on the bus they were back on his head. Somehow they did not come back with us to the hotel later that evening tho (i wonder what happened to them)

ive been busy with planning a new trip to disney and with work and school starting I guess I just forgot.
I will finish it. i promise. even if i dont write too much i will post the pics i have with small descriptions.
