The 'I'm attending MVMCP' thread

There's going to be a crowd of thousands for any party. The DIS members who have submitted their names on this list represent just a very small % of total people going to any particular party. The last two MVMCP I attended were the first Tuesday of December; same this year for 12/4 and crowds were VERY light. We walked on to rides pretty much all night. My advice: don't fret about the crowds for that night.

Thanks! I try to tell myself exactly what you have told me... I think I have just try to plan so well that little things make me nervous. I just need to remember it is going to be a wonderful trip!!

I'm getting a late start on planning. But I am planning a weekend trip for my family of 4 with the MVMCP either December 9th or 16th. We haven't 100% decided which weekend works better.

Going to MVMCP for the first time on Dec 9th with my GF! We're spending the weekend to celebrate our anniversary, yay!

Hello we are first timers for this event and will be going on 11/15. There's myself, dh, DS6, DD3, and DD8.. Cant wait!
For those who are not new besides the parade and the cookies and hot chocolate and the snow on main street and the castle, is there anything in particular that is a must do on this night?

I finally broke down and purchased MVMCP tickets I originally wanted to do it on our arrival day, but that just seems way too risky, so the only other night we didn't already have plans for is Tuesday, December 18th! I can't wait...it's going to be a huge surprise for my Dh as well as our two daughters

So jealous of the first timers. You have no idea how much fun you're going to have! Other than the things you mentioned, the other big draws are all of the character M&G and the SHORT line rides.

My DH will be attending the Nov 15th party and this also happens to be our 10th Anniversary. I have attended the party before 8 years ago but this will be my dh's first

On one of the other boards it states that they heard the new Fantasyland won't be open on the Dec. 6th MVMCP because there will be a private party. Anyone else hear this and can you change dates?
