Third times the charm! Family of 4 attending on 11/29/12

On a very off topic point, a few months ago my wife's car was in front of our house when a hail storm rolled through and pounded her car with baseball sized hail. I happened to be home that day and filmed it with my iPhone and then posted it on YouTube. About a week later, Mythbusters contacted me wondering if they could use my footage for an upcoming episode. Sure, why not?!? I got an email the other day that that episode will air on Monday Oct 21st. If you happen to watch and notice footage of a red Sunfire getting beat down, take 2 seconds and think to yourself, 'Poor Mrs. Dnsmills car.' LOL

DH 48 DD14, DD9 are ariving at Pop Centry on 11/16/12. Our flight arives at 3:30 and we are taking ME to our hotel. We are thinking of purchasing tickets for MVMCP. Is it worth it? We realize that we may not be able to hit any rides, but this is our only oportunity for MVMCP for our 5 day stay. We leave on Thanksgiving day. What would you do???

DW and I will enjoy our first Christmas Party on Tuesday, December 11. In fact, it is the purpose of our trip, augmented by a day visiting resorts and enjoying their Christmas decor, and a day in DTD. We already had visited for 10 days in February and just wanted an extra trip. We've been twice before during December, but have not attended a party.

If you're asking people on this forum you will get a bunch of 'YES!' answers. IMO MVMCP is an excellent way to start off the holiday season and would be a great start to your trip. If your flight arrives at 3:30, I would guesstimate you might be able to get to your hotel, check in and then get to MK by sometime between 7:00-8:00. The party is open until midnight so that would give you a few good quality hours to enjoy. You just have to weigh out if those few hours are worth the price of party tickets.

Yea, I had to laugh at myself when I realized that error. No worries, the horse is fine. The car is a different story. And I also need to correct myself that I said it will air on Monday the 21st when it will actually be Sunday the 21st. I looked through the online guide and found the episode is called Hail Hijinx. Show synopsis: Adam and Jamie pick apart some rope bridge physics from the action movie Cliffhanger, while Kari, Grant and Tory test if giant hail can really sink a fishing boat by puncturing the hull. Should be interesting.
