The, "I'll pose for pics & sign autographs" B-day tour! WEEERE BAAACK!!!!

One lady with no chest wore a yellow sportsbra and a man's white tank top - tied in the back like she worked at Hooters...accented by a bunch of bananas on the front...with jeans and high tops...with cigarettes in her back pocket... :thumbsup2

Then there was a large man - around 500# with orange and black zummies and a much too small, highlighter green/yellow vest like a road construction worker might wear...except he was not working...he was walking...and the only accident he was avoiding was the ones on the street from all of us following him and not the road with our eyes....

Where are the pictures?! While I'm disgusted, I'm also oddly curious.

I don't know this beauty but...

#1 Baylor was running late for pre-school one winter day...I was doing daycare for 4 other babies /toddlers so I was completely stressed with carseats /snowsuits...blah blah...
I had to drive him...and I was ushering him out the door in a hurry...could not get the coat to zip for the life of me...had a frusterated melt down saying "***...why will this coat not zip!" Baylor is whining...saying it is not comfortable...I say tough...finally say screw the zipper...and struggle to button it...and as I watch him waddle to the car in his boots...I notice his hood...
flapping at his bottom...:scared1:

:rotfl:That's even better than my mother spraying deodorant on my hair for my kindergarten picture. She thought it was hairspray. :rolleyes1

"I see commercials ya know"!
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

But...they're so tasty, Dizzy!!!!

My first bra outting...was with my mom...at JC Penny...she had me measured...after tons of arguing...out in the open by the register...she refused to understand my humiliation at that moment...told me to suck it up and not be a baby...so I relented...did not follow my inner compass...

and just my luck...2 minutes later...walking by while my arms were outstretched to the heavens and the tape measure was being placed under the invisible ****sters...was the entire popular crowd of the 6th grade boys basketball team...

My psychiatrist thinks that was the first time I thought of killing my mother....:lmao:

Okay...time to get off the couch...she charges a lot!:rotfl2:

And for the record...never actually contemplated killing her...just shaving her bald...including eyebrows....;)

LOL! Dizzy!
I've seen that in real life. Makes me chuckle every time!

yeah but the worst is when they are nasty, grimy, dirty, gray but I used to be white thongs that you should not wear to paint your house...yet wear in public?

Whatcha doin up?

Thought of my sis Laura today as I found out she will be attending Treyner's football game...This is my sister who eats with nothing touching...is a freak about certain foods...orders a meal...then asks them to take everything out and basically orders ala carte anyway...and is a waitress at Perkins for extra cash and gets mad when people ask for more maple syrup...

She is a hoot...completely nuts...and is so dead pan when she is not trying to be funny that everyone laughs at her...so the moral is she is pretty funny to make fun of and piss off...so it should be a great night...I keep trying to tell her to come in Dec...but she was at WDW once in 11th grade through marching band...and will not go back...I keep telling her tons has changed since band camp!

She is my single sister and at 31 1/2 feels like my kids are hers...which to their dissmay means an overly protective aunt sometimes...she was the one who went with me to Indiana for soccer in the spring...

They love her to death and she is their loyal family member and would do anything for them...and thus they pick on her...Make sense?!

Carsyn is her double (attitude wise - miss little mother bossy pants) I say I gave birth to my sister all the time...

They butt heads like Cheech and Chong...so it is even better humor cause Carsyn likes to shock her...

Last time they were together...Carsyn wanted money for a new bedroom set...was saying that she was looking for a job...My sis gave her a few ideas...and Carsyn winked at me first...then said..."No that's what street corners are for." I was laughing my hind end off...Laura needed a difibulator...and was like Big Mama...grasping her shirt...feigning a heart attack and all... :scared1:

Now my kids are very respectful...Carsyn has had one boyfriend and one only...she hates girls who are a tease etc...but to throw a bomb at her aunt...she would sell her soul to China...:rolleyes1

My sis in fact at a soccer game this summer...was at the snack stand with Carsyn...trying to help her with pointers on how to carry money :mic: ...and her hot dog..and her drink...so she would not spill something...and Carsyn looked at her...and said..."I am 15...I think I can handle it...maybe you should spend some time zipping up your drawers..." cause Laura had her fly down after coming out of the biffy...I had noticed 10 minutes before but with free entertainment like that....who am I to cast judgement or stop the fun of strangers and passerbys! :3dglasses

So there my sister stood...with her food and drink and money...with no hands to zip with...looking helpless...again I am laughing and walking away...leaving them 2 at the OK corral...and when I did turn around...there was Carsyn walking...holding her food and drink and money...and Laura's...while Laura was in mid zip... Carsyn...looking like the Chesire Cat! :ccat:

The boys...attack her at a lower level...she works for the mentally challenged...and it is a bad habbit of saying the "R" word for most Americans...and they usually do not...unless Laura is around...then they let it fly...and wait for Mt. St. Helens to blow...then laugh at her..and she realizes she was set up...and the best for them is it gets her everytime...like a whoopie cushion... :thumbsup2

So if you see us in WDW in December...know that if they like you...they will give ya grief...if they don't... well sorry! :lmao:

Is anyone else feeling a bit overwhelmed for their Dec trip?

I am...and here is why...

I need to buy airline tickets still! :scared1:

That food money and spending money are all that is left...but it still is a lot...

And...I am thinking...

Of staying the last 2 nights...at a cheaper priced hotel...than the Poly....:rolleyes1 :scared1: :rolleyes1 :scared1:

They have specials for $159 at the Dolphin/Swan...should I switch..cut my expenses for hotel in half for those 2 days...and that gives me 1 if not 1 and a half airline tickets paid for...

Whatcha think?

Is the Poly really worth $600+ for 2 nights...with a MK view? I am just afraid we will not be there to appreciate it...HELP!!!!

:grouphug:

I love the Poly - I think the location can't be beat. But why not switch to a garden view for the whole time? Just as nice of a room, and you can still see the fireworks from the beach!

I agree with Liz. Natch.

However, I actually like the Swan/Dolphin. Their rehabs over the past few years have made a huge difference and lots of improvements. And you can't beat the location as far as I am concerned. Please! Walking distance to two parks??? Amazing. And you won't get that close to parks anywhere else for $159. FYI--at the Swan/Dolphin you cannot get the Dining Plan, so that may be a deal breaker right there.

Now, as for other options...I would look at Garden view at the Poly for sure. I would also check out the DVC cash specials at SSR. They have some really good ones right now. Are you hell bent on staying deluxe? Or is it that you really wanted the Poly? And are you planning on being commandos? If so, then I would totally save the money and not pay for MK view at the Poly. AKL/AKV are offering some good deals right now as well--and although that is removed from everything, it is such a unique resort. Nothing else like it on property, that is for sure.

Ugh...so seriously...not sure what to do...switching to a different resort besides the Poly on the 12th and 13th is a no go because as of now they are sold out and I am getting it for less than $620 for the 2 nights including taxes for a MK view room. There are no other rooms available at all at the Poly.

Why spend the same $ for a moderate which is the only option right now?? There also is no rooms available at the Pop or All Star's....wondering if cancellations will not creep in though.

Need to call tom. and find out what the cash policy is at OKW for the same nights...:surfweb:

We also need hotel accomodations for the 5th and 6th and thinking off property since we arrive the 5th - stay at Universal/Sea World on the 6th...

Sooo many questions...so little brain left...:scared1:

We need to finish our countdown calendar...I think come 0ct 1 we will be golden on day to count out...

For Poly lovers...what building should we request at the Poly for a MK room...and if we decide to splurge with it...what can we do to make sure we are getting the mmost out of the stay...??:confused3

Good Sunday Morning Dis Boards!

Ever have a day where you feel it is the start of something great? I mean besides when we wake up at the house of the mouse? :lmao:

I here forward will be giving you last minute updates on a daily basis because I have noticed a complete lack of realizing how close this trip is with all the family stuff going on. I need to save some money for this trip...about $1000, I figure and I need to still get the airline tickets.....

A senior year is definetley more expensive than I anticipated...so for all those out there that have not listened to friend with older kids...start saving now!

Pictures...$800! Traveling to see colleges...$2500 and not close to done...planning on $1000 for grad party...and the look on his face when he decides which college to go to..better be priceless...:rolleyes1

The great thing about Disney trips is that no matter how you do them...whether in luxury or cutting frivolous corners...it always is a great time...so I plan big...and if I end up around the corner and down the block from big...it always ends up wonderfull...

Surprises always happen...and somehow God puts you where you need to be...even when you least expect it...

In the spring of 2002...we were staying at the Boardwalk with our DVC...and we planned on going to BB that day for some fun, water and sun...our first day in Florida after a long winter...

Carsyn...who is just like this...was running slow...we hurry her out...get to the bus stop...and guess who forgot her goggles...yup Carsyn...:headache:

Carsyn and her Dad went back up to the room...I sat frusterated with the boys because the bus for BB came and went...and when they finally got back (those hallways are like airport runways and we were at the end!) the next bus was for TL...so I said...that is where we are headed! (Sorry...Impatient bus waiter here...)

Four hours later...Treyner and Carsyn came up to us with a couple of kids (Baylor, their Dad and I were on the chairs lounging) who we noticed spoke with a thick Irish brogue!

Turns out Treyner knocked into the boy, Matthew in the tidal wave pool...and Matthew and Carsyn were the same age...while the girl, Holly and Treyner were the same age...

The rest of the day they were inseperable...we met the parents...turns out they were on their last day...and that evening...went out to eat with them at Spoodles...walked the boardwalk after dinner and as soon as we came home a week later...was pleasantly suprised to find a care package...

Since then...we have gone to Ireland for 2 weeks...they have came to MN for 2 weeks and we met in Florida again...

I consider them to be best friends...and all because Carsyn forgot her goggles...

I guess I am writing this because...when things go unexpected...I tend to be a person who does not move well in the chaos sometimes...I look past the moment into what I expected...and I think I miss out on what God was trying to show me...

I need to slow down my thoughts...enjoy the day and be proactive with what I can...and let go of what I am not able to change...and look for the rainbows...because they are there...but sometimes I am so busy dodging the rain...I forget to look up.

So for all of you on this Sunday morning...regardless of faith or circumstance...can you please let me know about your rainbows today...I think the world can use a few more reminders...
Thanks and may your dreams come true even when you did not know what you were dreaming of!
