No way. I much much prefer driving in the snow than the fog we get here. At least in the snow, you can see what you are going to hit. We have dense fog here. We've had at least 5 fog days now with cancelled school but I still have to get Elvin out of the garage and get out there and drive.
I can remember, several years ago, where it was so bad coming home from work one night that I had to roll down the window and stick my head out so that I could be listening for vehicles while at the same time looking down to find the road divider (white line) because I couldn't see past my windshield. People have been known to be going the wrong way on the freeway because you really cannot see.
They do put CHP out on the freeways to "guide" cars but on the city streets, you are on your own. Left turns when you can't see the oncoming traffic are a lot of fun. Fog days make me miss my SUV (sorry Elvin).
