DH, who has had surgeries 2 years in a row, is once again at the back doctor. Fingers crossed they can control it quickly without surgery. We did know he would have to go back sometime, we were just hoping the last surgery would last longer than 2 years.

Nope, he's back to his back problems. He does have hand problems, too, but luckily the last steroid shot has been holding. That surgery was not quite a years ago. 2 years ago, while in my last 8 weeks of pregnancy with R and just before the holidays, DH HAD to have surgery on his back. He needs a triple fusion, but the doc won't do that many, especially because of his age. It would limit his movement too much. So, he had to procedures done to ease it and hopefully hold for awhile. We were hoping for 5 years. In my last convo with the doc, I learned that there is testing being done for a combo of a disc replacement with a fusion. We're hoping that will be ready when DH has his next surgery. Right now, the doc is trying to treat him with medicine. Next appt in 1 1/2 weeks. DH already filled the script and I guess it's pretty strong cause he sounds kinda loopy. I told him he sounds cute.

I'd love to go. When we were in PA a few years ago they had a demolition derby at the local high school. We had a blast! And here's a little tidbit of history for you: my mom used to drag race occasionally in Englishtown, NJ when she was younger. Even did demolition derby once or twice.

DH used to drag race in a 67 Mustang he had. He stopped when we had S. A good friend of his still races and we go watch him occasionally. He came in 2nd the last time we went.

Monster Jam was the inlaws idea, they even paid. It was a last minute, hey let's go here, kinda thing. The kids loved it!
