You will get a range of opinions. I have not slept with anyone on the sofa bed but have slept on it by myself on at least 30 different trips. Not as comfortable as a bed but definitely doable, at least as a solo. When would you be going? The BWV refurbishment now underway will be replacing sofa beds with Murphy beds and those Murphy beds are really comfortable. What do people think about the BWV couch beds? We're considering a 1BR Villa for four adults with one couple sleeping on the couch beds for four days. Would we just be absolutely unbearably uncomfortable?

The BWV refurbishment should be mostly finished by May so you would have a good chance of getting a Murphy bed. Good luck! Some people have also reported requesting an egg crate type pad from housekeeping for the sofa bed and have received one, so you could always try that if you end up on a sofa bed.It would be my wife and I staying on the sofa bed. I think we can manage but wanted to check on opinions.
We'd be going in May. And that would be amazing. I've slept on the Murphy beds a ton at Pop and they're fantastic.
There are boardwalk views and pool/garden views which are separate booking categories. Also all 2 bd are lock offs so they can be hard to get in the boardwalk view.Just a question. "Tink"ing of staying here next fall trip. My question is are all the 2BR preferred view along the boardwalk or are they scattered throughout?
Thanks, I will have to rent and David's only has preferred and standard. If I knew I was getting boardwalk I would pay the extra but really don't care so will probably go with standard. There are boardwalk views and pool/garden views which are separate booking categories. Thanks for photos of studio. Photos of 1BR eagerly awaited!

Sorry, I don’t have a clue. But I would suggest to post this question in a new thread in the DVC Member Services forum. You might get more eyes there!Maintenance Fees Question - First, I'm happy they look to only go up 1.64% for 2024, that's rather impressive considering how crazy many expenses went recently, plus the remodel half finished (Inn side done, Villas in progress
My question is about the line item expense for the proposed increase "Sales Tax on Support Facilities" for $411.751 in 2024. I noticed it is not a line item for Beach Club Villas, and wonder why one has it and the other does not, but since it did not explain it other than the typical DVC mumbo gumbo, no clues there. (Here is the description just for entertainment value: Item 12. Sales Tax on Support Facilities - State sales tax paid on the Condominium's share of costs incurred in connection with the operation or maintenance of the Support Facilities in accordance with the Master Declaration of Covenants Conditions and Restrictions encumbering the Condominium property.) That made it clear as mud.
Anyone know what that expense item actually "is" and why Beach Club does not have/share it?
No idea either, but BWV has some things BCV doesn't --a community hall (and they do have $ crafts and DVDs) and a coffee shop on the Villas side. The rest of the Boardwalk shops are on the Boardwalk, so shouldn't be a BWV expense. All the food for BCV is at the hotel side.Maintenance Fees Question - First, I'm happy they look to only go up 1.64% for 2024, that's rather impressive considering how crazy many expenses went recently, plus the remodel half finished (Inn side done, Villas in progress

I too suggest posting on the Member Services forum, and you could also send an email to DVC via the member website asking for more details on that line item.Maintenance Fees Question - First, I'm happy they look to only go up 1.64% for 2024, that's rather impressive considering how crazy many expenses went recently, plus the remodel half finished (Inn side done, Villas in progress
