The "I am Banned from VMK" Thread.

well i got banned for nothing just playing castle fireworks and i finished the game and i get banned wow what did i do? get banned for having some fun? hehe

It's not the first time vmk's auto banner has gotten people by mistake. Everyday dozens of people say dont pretend to be staff and they get banned for no reason

I anticipate a return phone call from VMK staff before the end of the week admitting they messed up. In the meantime, I hope the popcorm carts do not go away and nothing cool comes out that I might miss.

I must admit however, knowing I did nothing wrong makes being banned from a game a much bigger ordeal than it should be.

Want to know why I got banned? I asked and here is the answer he gave me...somebody called me back by the way.

Because I was making people "pay to play"! I told them, I do not host any games, therefore that is impossible.

So, come to find out, I was trading with one of our moderators on this board and then asked him if he wanted to go on my ride. Because we traded and then the ride was next (which he did not even go on), it was assumed I was making him pay to play.

Is that not crazy!?!?!?!

I told him that they need to look into this further as I have never asked anybody for anything to ride and I never will. I created it for fun and to share, not to make a virtual profit.

Wow, this is incredible!! I guess everyone should take this as a warning NEVER to trade in any of your rooms with a ride, or that you sometimes host a game in.

While I am sure they will find your ban was unjustified, it's unfair that you were accused of this to start with.

I am glad to hear they responded so quickly to your inquiry. I hope they lift your ban fast too!

Wow!!!! I guess I should post right here, we did not trade items in order to use her ride, which as she stated I didnt ride. WOW! So sorry this happened to you. BUT the good news is they will overturn this I mean, I was there, and you were there and we both know your innocent

If anyone knows the " caps code " you are no longer allowed to do that. A MONTH BAN FOR USING THE CAPS CODE. It wasnt like i was using it to say anything bad

I do not mean caps as in all caps i mean caps as in.

I belive VMK refers to it as Dictionary Dancing and it is against the values to say something via Dictionary Dancing. Although I don't think they've ever enforced it much until recently.

woot! Personally I think they should give something to the player if they " mess up " just like a business would do like: Sorry for the mishap, here is 2000 credits for your troubles.
