Lets get back on topic. The topic is letting people know you have been banned, or stating your case as to why you were incorrectly banned.

As Aengus stated we do not allow posting how to get around IP bans on the board.

You have posted you were banned any further discussion of that ban needs to be taken to another thread.

I just logged on this morning and received a message that I was banned for 9 years.

I sent them a message. I have no idea why. I have never dictonary danced (other than saying on, too, tree, for, ive, fix, etc), I rarely speak to other players unless I am helping them, I follow the VMK values, I do not hang out in rooms that are not mine and I am never ugly to other players.

I am actually a little upset about this. It is only a game and not anything that will affect my life, but to be "punished" for something and not know why really upsets me.

I know it was not anything I did, but I am concerned now that maybe my daughter was in a room with people saying stuff they should not have been.

that sucks i got banned for 8 years i wanna come back, but i emailed the staff and they said we will not be allowing u to play vmk anymore, but when they banned me it was a month, but when i messaged the staff they said that and it seemed like they expaned it for messaging them. Can this happen if u message them

Don't worry, it was probably just a mistake im sure if you asked them to review everything it will be fixed, just another VMK oopsie.

Thanks Titanic. I do feel that it is a mistake.

I could logon with my work PC, but I immediately logged back out. I never even went into any of the rooms. I was curious really. I do not want to abuse the priveledge of being able to get on another PC as I want to be honest about the ban, unfair as it is.

I hope they fix it soon...I want my popcorn carts.

Make sure you write to contact us, and explain why you don't think it is fair. You will at least be able to learn what it was for.

They will not extend your ban for sending them a message.

Yes definitely question it, they will explain the reason for the ban and you can dispute it. They can review what happened and when.

Hope they get this corrected soon!!

Because I was making people "pay to play"! I told them, I do not host any games, therefore that is impossible.

So, come to find out, I was trading with one of our moderators on this board and then asked him if he wanted to go on my ride. Because we traded and then the ride was next (which he did not even go on), it was assumed I was making him pay to play.

Is that not crazy!?!?!?!

I told him that they need to look into this further as I have never asked anybody for anything to ride and I never will. I created it for fun and to share, not to make a virtual profit.

Sorry, but that seems too funny. I'm sure that if you had the moderator send them something saying you didn't charge them for the ride it will all be fine. And doesn't that mean the dark rides should be shutting down soon...? Breaking their own rules... Tsk tsk.

It's not the first time vmk's auto banner has gotten people by mistake. Everyday dozens of people say dont pretend to be staff and they get banned for no reason
