Ok, thought i would never ever be on this list but it looks like my son got me and our entire computer banned for a month (until 8/24/06 9am pst) !!

Needless to say he has a mummy ban for 10 years!! lol. Not like i hadnt given him abillion warnings about sharing personal information!! He asked his "girlfriend" if she was on a certain im.

my brother by_ducktape if you know him got ban for not useing a day care right he never went in on
then just a little while he got ban for a day for "adult themed behaveure "
all he did i was watching him went in a trade room traded for a full space suit then he went in that thunder mountan cave place went on the slide thing and said we!! exactly like that win he went down and in the next room he walked in and BAM!! he was ban for 24 hours now he is up set about it he is ten what did he do!

When VMK bans someone, they don't always ban at the exact time a
person goes against VMK Values. Sometimes the staff need to view a
log of all the text and discover that a person did break the rules, and it
could be an hour or a day later.

So just because your brother was doing nothing wrong when the ban
happened doesn't mean that he wasn't doing anything wrong a day earlier.

I hope that makes you understand that staff has a LOT of chat to monitor
to make sure kids are safe. And bans often occur much later than the
actual time it occurred.

On my old account I got a ten year ban for trying to give out my AIM name so someone could send me a code and I was so rich on that account I hade lots and lots of rare furnishing mansion hat and pants, Blue dress, pink dress, fireworks invisible lots of rare pins, bird hat and alot more. Now our internet provider changes the IP's every year or something so luckily it got changed and im back on,.

They had a reason to ban you, sorry to say it. But it is not right to give out even your email or aim address. Because you can tell personal information with no limitations. They were just keeping you safe, sorry for that ban though. You are very lucky to have got back on. That is why I only trade for codes through dis or micechat.

Yeah I just found this site today and Im glad I did. I really want to play vmk again so is there a way you can un IP-bann me? I promise I will follow all the vmk values and not hurt anyone. Not share any personal information either. I am addicted to it and even though I cant go on I visit the site everday browse and read the vmk values. Please bring it back. I just moved from one state to another and unfortunately, I got banned in my new house. My sister got us IP-banned and I haven't talked to her since. I got banned about a month and a day ago. I am addicted to it and really miss it. Please help me please!

We can't. You could, but you could get in much worse trouble if you were seen before ban's over. They say you are responsible for what your avatar does, no matter who is at the keyboard. :/

Im asking vmk staff if they could un IP-ban me. And If its coming from one of them then I wouldn't get in any worse trouble. They decide it so even if they did see me they would know that they let me go on. So thats why im asking if they can. And are you vmk staff anyways?

DIS boards are not connected to VMK. If you want to write to VMK staff, you need to use the 'Contact Us' section on vmk.com.

I e-mailed VMK and i said i missed it so much and stuff and they write me back saying that they un-banned me.

wow thats it? Can you tell me some stuff that you said? bc i have it worse then all of you.. my sister got us IP banned for 10 YEARS. And since I just moved from in state to another, i basically have no friends yet. And, I cant really go to a friends house or anything. Yes, I cant go on vmk at all in my HOUSE for 10 whole years. ( and I have 5 different computers in my house ) I try going to the library.. but my parents really never have the time. So VMK_Caslee, try to tell me exactly what you said at the most you can. Im sure this will help me alot! Thx!

That is worth being banned, since yahoo also had an IM thing and they may have thought you would ask for someone's IM name.

Now that you've been banned for two hours, the NEXT time you mention
any outside Internet thing (like AOL, Yahoo, etc) will get you banned
permanently. Nanoer was banned for trying to mention AIM
instant messenger. These are all against VMK Values.

I would suggest your click the links to the VMK Values and rules to prevent
a permanent ban in the future.

Also, please don't ask if anyone is on the DIS, VMKForums, etc. VMK bans
people for doing that, too.

Yes. Discussing VMKForums, VMKMagic, the DIS, instant messaging screenames, etc. will get you banned for a month if not permanately. Don't do it. It's not worth the trouble, and there is no need for you to need somone's title outside of VMK.
