That's adorable Pix. I wish I would have had a little girl that dressed like that. DD had definite ideas about what she wanted to wear, from a very early age, like 2! And none of it involved anything that I considered girly or cute.

I saw some Emergency Chocolate Bars at Cost Plus. I kept thinking, forget that, buy a whole bag of chocolate because with women it's ALWAYS an emergency!!

I saw some Emergency Chocolate Bars at Cost Plus. I kept thinking, forget that, buy a whole bag of chocolate because with women it's ALWAYS an emergency!!

We bought some at Safeway today.. and Alex got a kit kat. now that dang kit kat bar is calling me from the cup board.. Oh... is it calling. But I CANT eat my sons candy bar... Can I?

I had 12 weeks to get used to the idea of a girl, how fun getting cute little dresses and tights and socks and shoes and hair ribbons would be, having little tea parties, taking her to the Nutcracker ballet...

Then we found out it was a boy after all. I cried happy tears, and sad tears.

So where do I get a girl that likes all those things? Cuz mine sure didn't! I had some of the cutest little dresses and from the time she was about 8 months old she would cry when I put them on her. She would pull the tights off...and of course had virtually no hair until she was 2.

I feel like someone beat me today. I seem to be going thru a new stage of healing. Boy they sure weren't kidding when they said this surgery would take about 2 years to completely heal. The last month or so I've had horrible itching, that finally quit now the past few days it's been really sore.

And my back and abdomen muscles are sore I feel like I ran a marathon or something this last week. Just took an Ibuprofen so hopefully that will kick in soon.

I really do hate to complain, but geesh some days I swear I feel like I'm about 80 years old!
