off to bed, no subs needed for monday.. it's a short 3 day week of school, guessing teachers are not wanting to call in sick.

Darn! No work for hubby!

I'm writing up my resume and filling out apps this week.
Couple possibilities:
American Girl is opening at Mall of America, I like doing the behind the scenes stuff-- stock position.

And local YWCA needs assistant teachers at their day care .. woohoo free membership as a perk!

Not to mention I have Wally World just down the street gag, last resort. But I've heard hey have a decent discount card for employees.

And Target... advertising seasonal hiring right now.

Isn't it sad that the pay for retail or preschool ed is the same?

Best weekend EVER. REALLY.

I went to Southcenter Mall on Friday.. It is a HUGE mall that has just recently opened up a HUGE new section to it. Fantastic! JC Penneys had a HUGE sale going on, and I totally stocked up on stuff for the kids. I spent way to much money, but I got a TON of clothes. it was lovely.

Then we came home... and watched Ironman... What a neat movie! It was funny.. The very end was my favorite part..

We went to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday.. my kids got to ride a MONSTER TRUCK!!!!! How cool is that??? So cool that I was jealous my big ole pregnant butt couldnt go. We all got pumpkins.. the kid rode ponies, and went on this big slide built into the side of the hill... and shot apples out of a big gun thingy.. we did the corn maze.. But by far the coolest thing was the monster truck. Mikalah got off going.... That was FUN!!!

Frelan went and bought himself some video games, and he got GTA Liberty City.. NOT a game to play around kids.. We get home and he starts to put it in. UMMMMM... DEAR???? I dont think so!

Today we went to Winco and used the GCs my mom gave us.. We stocked up BIG TIME. My cabinets are about to fall off the wall.

Yeah, DH went to the grocery store and came back with a $9 wii game that we wound up playing for the better portion of the afternoon.

I don't know what it's called but it has several carnival-type games, and one of them is skeeball (they call it "skill ball".) We all got hooked on that one, even DS4.

And guess who has the top score?
It's driving DH NUTS!!!

OMG...I am freaking out.... The DVC resale place just called and had one just listed.... It is 2000.00 more than we wanted to spend. I can't get ahold of DH to see if I can take it.. it has taken weeks to get one. We have not discussed me having the right to go over...I am sure if it were up to 500. he would be ok, but 2000 .. I don't know...MAN.. hurry up already DH call me...

If it were you guys would you risk it and wait for approval or would you go on and do it...

Good Morning Hyenas!

I went to starbucks this morning and got a tall caramel frappuccino. I was feeling sleepy and needed caffeine. I also got a sausage croissant from jack in the box. I really need to sleep early...especially since I've been waking up early to pick up my little sis and dropping her off at school. I also have been taking her to her swim practice.

I won a pin on ebay that was designed by a CM in WDW. It's of figment and tinkerbell together. :

This morning I called Time Warner. Our internet has been lousy and slow and we also have problems with our cable and DVR box. I hope they can fix it.

I'm so glad it's windy outside. It makes me want to run out and jump in a pile of leaves and buy a pumpkin!

Howdy Hyenas and Albort!

I have been getting ready for our trip next week. I'll give you a mini PTR.

Leave early early Tuesday morning for Vegas. Stay at the Venetian for 3 nights. Expense paid!! Woo hoo!

Shop til I drop at the Malls. Even going to start my Christmas shopping.

Hoping for some sunshine, so I can lay by the pool and have an umbrella drink with book in hand.

Watch the Bellagio Fountains as much as possible. They are my favorite thing to see while there. I could watch them all day!

See Bette Middler Wednesday night. Not my first choice, but once again expense paid.

Eat good food!!

Friday morning, nice and early......leave for DL.

That night attend MToTP with my whole family. 11 of us!! I'm so happy that they all can make it.

Saturday hit the parks nice and early if possible. That evening meet up with parts of my family who will not be going to DL. (They will be setting up for the Pomona Car Swap Meet.) So since they won't have park tickets, we are eating at Storytellers. I have never been there, so I'm excited to try it.

Sunday, maybe Kaitlyn and Dave and I will go into the parks. We have passes that aren't blocked out that day................so it would be fun to go again for a little bit.

Come home. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

DBF and I were in Vegas this weekend and it was COLD! We still had a blast. DBF won some money, I spent it. We stayed at the Golden Nuggent on Fremont street.

It always amzes me how quickly we go from leaves beginning to color.. to piles of leaves blowing around and the trees being bare.

There is a fire spreading quickly not too far from here. So far 35 homes have burnt and they shut the fwy. My co-worker's son was on the fwy as he watched a tow truck and 2 other vehicles hit each other. One vehicle flipped up in the air and he saw their faces screaming in horror. I was told that one vehicle burst into flames and it's a possible fatality. Her son was shook up from having seen such a frightening and horrific sight. Just hearing about it scares me and makes me sad.

My bf usually takes a canyon to work but they closed it off due to the fire. Another co-worker of mine is scared because his home is located near the fire and his wife and kids are staying at her mother's home tonight.

My bf and co-workers will have to take another fwy which also has accidents and is slow and backed up.

The winds are crazy at the moment and the fire is spreading. Some of my co-workers live far away (almost 2hrs away) and they are leaving work now.

My little sister has swim practice but I am thinking of not having her go. I'm afraid the wind has blown the smoke near where her practice is held and wouldn't be safe to breathe.
