You pay for it, so should she, right?I have never had to deal with taking care of my car...I know what I need to do but DH has always kept track of it...just this morning he told me to remind the boys that I needed an oil change...so I did...they will do it Sunday...but, I do pay them for the work...I figure I would have to pay someone else so why not them...and it would get old for them to do it...DH was taking it to the dealer for it but the boys ask to do it...so why not...
I am afraid DD will "expect" them to do it for her though

ETA: I bet the boys would give her a break on the price, compared to what a garage would charge, so that would be good motivation for her to work with her brothers!
I tried getting my sis to pay my dad for all the work he put in on her car; it was a LOT of work because she refused to do maintenance ("too expensive"). But she scoffed at the idea.

I took pics for you guys to see. I had to be sneaky because 2 CM's were wondering what the heck I was taking pics of.
Obviously people who have never had to deal with chronic illness.. like say... oh dialysis that costs approx $375 per treatment to stay alive.
