Hi Alison, I have to run the kiddos to school and then get some more tooth paste for Jake. I thought I was done running to Walmart! BRB

Dizzy, when do you come home? Lisa and I called eachother from Tom Sawyers Island on both from DL and WDW one tiem. I know we are dorks but it was kinda fun. I could call you from the East coast and see where in the DL world you are in relation to where I am.

We come home sometime Sunday morning. We leave today, but don't hit DL until tomorrow morning

I have no idea what I'm doing on here today. It's the first day of the month! My busiest day of the entire month! I have to close out last month's sales journals, cash disbursements, input everything into the general ledger, reconcile 8 checking accounts and 5 savings accounts, open new October sales & cash disbursements registers.

Guess I should have called in sick today, but unfortunately no one is here to do my work for me and it would just be sitting on my desk tomorrow!

Hand him a box of baking soda and tell him it's what his great grandparents used to use before toothpaste was invented. BTW, did you know that until the 1950's it was common for each family to share just 1 toothbrush? I have no idea where I read that, but it's one of those interesting facts that stuck in my head.

Sunny today... sorta! It's been a bit cloudy this morning, but it just popped out, yay! Supposed to be mid-70s today!

OK, I guess this was a drive-by, I need to return some rented movies and pick up the little one.

Wow, quiet thread this afternoon!

I ran the boys to swim class this afternoon, then we stopped at Taco Time on the way home. I don't know why, I was thinking it was nearly dinner time, and the kids were claiming to be starving (it was very sad, you know ), so I went through the Taco Time drive-thru and picked up two kids' meals.

So here it is not quite 6:30 PM, the kids are showered, fed, and DS8 has even finished up his homework! I'm giddy!

Hey! I just realized that I never heard back from the city about jury duty, WOOHOO!!!

I got a summons a week ago, and if you couldn't serve, you could ask to be excused from serving. Since I have no one to watch the kids for a week or however long this kind of thing takes (take them/pick them up from the schools, stay with DS4 while he naps, and take them to after school activities), I asked to be excused. I submitted a request online, and the the auto-reply indicated that if I hadn't heard anything within 5 business days, I was to consider myself excused. And today would be 8 business days with no word!

DS8 is on a comic book writing kick. I don't know where this came from, but it kinda cracks me up!

He'll draw a picture, then tell a long, drawn-out story that he'd like me to write down for him. (This would take all night if he were to write it himself... Though I am considering making him do that if this goes on much longer!)

Anyway, so last night he dictated a silly adventure about a superhero guy and his superhero dog, who chase after a bank robbing villain! Tonight the bank robbing villain escaped and robbed another bank, but our heroes arrived soon after to save the day.

He's warned me already that tomorrow night there will be a new villain in town, and a third villain the night after that!

It works like a charm, they don't even want to touch that one with a 10 foot pole. Notice I didn't lie and say I was breast feeding, instead I just ask if they have a private room for that purpose.

I just got an apple and DH was standing in the kitchen. I politely asked him if he would like a Piece of Apple. He got a strange look on his face and said "Would I like a piece of WHAT?". Piece of apple dear, piece of apple! Imagine the disappointed look on his face when he discovered all I was offering was a piece of apple. That was too funny!

If I had any sense at all I would be packing tonight so I could be on a plane for WDW tomorrow. Sigh...guess I'll just have to wait until spring break. Although maybe I could sneak in a weekend at DL sometime this winter before the kid's AP's expire.
