Hi All!

I've been busy keeping up with questions on DL on the other boards. We are leaving next Tuesday for Vegas, and then meeting the rest of my family on Friday at DL. We are going to the ToTP that night, and going to DL the next day too.

So Pix................I saw all of your pics. How come it wasn't as fun as last year? Did you see my question to you about the Premium Pass. Do you ever get anything else special besides discounts with it?

Those of you who answered my question about the premium pass, thankyou too.

Dizzy!! How was DL? Did you guys have fun at the party? Was it really busy?

Megan, that would have been my first reaction to Frelan too. I hope you do OK with the X. Like Frelan says, please try not to yell, and don't be poking no fork at him OK? This is my hug to you. Take care!

Alex, how did the pumpkin bars turn out? Did you see that Lynn posted the recipe for DL's Pumpkin Muffins? Those are next on my list. YummY!

Thanks Melody. I am hoping I dont yell at him. Or cause him physical harm in any way.. But Im not making any promises! I am not having the best time controlling my temper these days. BUT.. Frelan DID warn him.. and its not like the man has never seen me pregnant, so if I beat the crap out of him... its his own fault.

Ill bet you are excited for your trip!!! How fun! Is the whole family going this time?

Yep we did . It was actually really weird, we got there Thursday, and with the park hours of 10-8 (with EE kind of) we were able to ride absolutely everything we wanted to, as many times as we wanted to. So come Friday we actually slept in, hit DL for a couple of hours, got an early dinner at Outback, and then hit MHT. We got there early before the major crowds, got all the candy we wanted, rode some rides, and went to bed. Come Saturday we still did EE, had a leisurely breakfast, and re-rode the favs - still leaving for lunch at PF Changs, taking (me) a 3 hour nap while DH watched football, and ended the night early. There were actually ALOT of red shirts this time, in very large herds, I dunno, we had tons of fun it was just weird

That sounds GREAT!! Especially since everything I had heard was that it was going to be SO crazy busy, and not a lot of fun... You know? But it sounds like you got alot done, and thats good..

Mmmmm... Outback. We have a date night planned for the Outback on Thursday... Maybe Friday... You know, the 4 of us.

Oh... so here is a funny story that kinda goes along with Alex's dad showing up.. On Friday, after Frelan came home and told me about the jerk showing up at his work, we got a few phone calls from a strange, but local, number. I didnt answer, because I figured it was him... I got calls from the same number ALL WEEKEND. Finally.. I braced myself. I was going to answer, and tell him what we had decided.... It was the Toyota dealership...They didnt have all our paper work on file, and needed us to bring in copies of a few things. I felt like a geek. We had been wondering why we hadnt gotten a statement yet.

so ummm why did Alex's bio bug Frelan at work?? That's really odd. Do you think he is looking for visitation rights? or to whine and cry about paying child support?

The deadbeat parent puzzlesme, you creat a child into the world but deny it's existence? My brother's ex ignored her boys for weeks, called them just in time before it would be considered abandonment. (Or that is the scuttle butt I heard.. is it abandonment if the other parent is caring for the kids??)

Anyway, they take turns with custody.. each week they are at mom's or dad's .. personally I think it is a crummy disruption to their life.

Well... See, I had a HUGE can of pumpkin, so I doubled the recipe. I was thinking I'd be able to freeze some of the bars. Brilliant, I thought...

I thought they were good. DS8 thought it was good, but got halfway through a bar then decided he didn't like the frosting. Like... enough that he was gonna throw up. Which, of course, meant DS4 wouldn't eat his either.

So GOSH, one batch makes a huge amount! I suddenly had two pans of bars that only I would eat! (Well, and DH, but he shouldn't...)

And the icing was gooey! I'd hoped it would be kinda... I don't know, stiff? You know? So I'd be able to wrap it and freeze it. Only it didn't work out that way.

But yes, I did like it.

OMG! Who is the big guy dancing with Kim on Dancing with the Stars??? He is sooo cute! He's this big guy, but seems very sweet and funny. You'd think these big guys (football player maybe???) can't move very well, but he's so smoooooooth. It's a very hot combination! I think Carrie Ann got a little steamed up!

I know, right? Right now it totally strikes me as an obvious solution.. But do you think it is something I would have thought of if I were in that situation??? NO! I would have sat my fat butt down and ate all of them.

And you can freeze pumpkin.. it might need a bit of draining, but it works great for when you find the big cans cheaper than the small ones.. mmmm I love pumpkin.

I bought pumpkin butter from Trader Joe a few weeks ago.. had it with ice cream today-- it was divine!

Hubby thought I was nuts and made faces -- pumpkin on your ice cream ??

HMPH little does he know, it tastes like pumpkin pie -- mmmmm




I have a recipe for a pumpkin pudding , super easy and I can make it gluten/casein free to bring to my sister's house for holidays. I feel that her DS gets left out if I bring food over.. he usually can't eat it.

He last saw him on his 5th birthday. YES.. It has been a year and a half. Honestly.. I thought I was rid of him.

I KNOW. Trust me.. I KNOW. Especially now that he is old enough to know what is happening, you know? I dont know.. Im just surprised Frelan didnt punch him in the nose when he showed up at his work.
