I finally took a gander at the ADR's he made, and there is a definite chance I will need stretchy pants by mid week. I was very clear I was not interested in running all over creation to eat, so he kept it to where we would be (thank you husband), but I forgot a key thing- his legs, they are hollow.

There is-
Kona- breakfast and dinner. Different days, said he couldn't decide. :confused3
Yak and Yeti- early dinner- I'm fine with this.
Liberty Tree Tavern- lunch, also okay with this.
50's Prime Time- lunch (apparently lunch is the most important meal to him)
Coral Reef- I'm against this. I find it unsettling to eat seafood in front of seafood. I think I'd prefer to snack my way through Epcot all day. More fun things to try that way, well to me anyhow.
Tutto Italia- at 9:15pm no less! I asked him and he said he looked into the future and just KNEW he would need some way to get a cannoli. He's never even had a cannoli. :confused3
Rainforest Cafe- breakfast at AK.
T-rex- he saw the pictures and said, "That's happening." Probably non-negotiable. He's a 4 year old in a grown mans body.
Artist Point- he saw something on the menu he just has to have, or something along those lines.

I'm not trying to go behind him and change what he did or anything, but I would definitely like some feedback on how to weed out so many choices. These are just the ones I remember, if the Disney site would ever work properly for me I would make a list. Any opinions on how to lighten the load would be appreciated! :flower3:

Treadmill now. Treadmill later.

Seriously. Sit back and enjoy the ride. No need to eat a three course meal at every stop. And be thankful that you have a hubby who likes to plan and give his princess the best that life offers. Sounds like he and I would get along famously.:cool1:

I agree with Jimmy V. You're on vacation, so just enjoy. Just because HE has a hollow leg doesn't mean YOU have to order an appy and dessert with every meal. Unless you want to. And don't forget how many miles you will be walking everyday. Guaranteed to burn off the calories from a cannoli or two...or three.

how many days are you going to be there - how many meals pre-day did he book??
are you doing the deluxe dinning??

you do not have to clean your plate

I am a little jealous you have a husband that is involved in planning the trip. Mine just wants to insert criticism when I mention what I have planned. :headache:

If you tell me you also leave socks in the kitchen, I would say you are almost the same person. ;)

I fully plan to enjoy myself, it just feels like a lot of eating. I know we will be walking a lot, and I will definitely enjoy the sitting breaks and air conditioning.

7 days? I think. No ADR's on arrival or departure.. I think. The WDW site is driving me crazy! I only listed what I remember for sure. There is a huge chance there is more and I can't remember.
No Deluxe Dining.

Outrageous! Dirty socks belong in one place and one place only. By the side of the bed, 20 feet from the hamper. :rotfl2:

:lmao: I understand your concerns. Really I do. And if you're visiting while it's hot, then the thought of several large meals a day might not be that appealing. Maybe you can negotiate. Could he reduce the number of table service meals to just one a day (but he gets to pick)? Would this work?

Well, I don't have anything against Coral Reef but I'm with you, my favorite part of Epcot is to snack and drink along the way! A little croissant with coffee in France, some churros or nachos in Mexico depending on the time of day. Italian Margarita in Italy, Falafel in Morroco and I could go on and on....

T-Rex, well it's just fun to look at and surprizingly enough we've found the food to be good, so support his inner child and enjoy!

I actually don't mind late ADR's, prefer them actually, I love to ride but if I eat a big lunch I can't do it so I prefer light lunch and late dinner!

Good luck!

 Hopefully he will appreciate all the hardwork you are putting into planning later!

:lmao: Men. I once told him I was going to take all his socks and keep them when I found them in weird places... So I did. He let me and bought himself all new socks. Said he needed them anyway. So I froze his underwear. :littleangel:

As an aside, he must have knew I was talking about him, he walked in with sunflowers and daisies. Or he bought something expensive.

I think he will enjoy the snacking around Epcot too, and I'm definitely okay with keeping the Tutto- how else are we going to get a cannoli? ;)

Your DH doesnt sound too lovely.. He should feel lucky you've chosen to take him!!lol
Hope he gets more into the spirit of things!!! xxxxxx

Enjoy your vacation! Including the food! You can always cancel one or two of our ADRs if you get too overwhelmed! :thumbsup2

If I were still an omnivore I would feel the same way.

They do have other things on the menu besides fish; why not try their vegetarian dish, or just a salad?

Or just dessert? While he fills his hollow leg, you can continue your snacking around Epcot, just sitting down in the AC. :)

A nice midday salad and lots of ice water will probably sound very good to me when its hot and I have been walking all morning. :)

You know he can get a cannoli at the kiosk outside the Italy pavillion, don't need to go to Tutto to do so.

Your husband sounds great, go and enjoy. My husband will have nothing to do with it and I wish he would get a little as excited about making ADR.
