I love decorating my home for Thanksgiving and esp Christmas!! :teeth:

Last night I was in Target and bought the Yankee Candle Home Classics Reed Diffuser. I chose the fragrance = Home For Christmas!

Now the YC Home For Christmas, 22oz candle was $24.00 and so was the diffuser. I have never tried diffusers and thought I would give it a try.

I figured I would be able to use this 24/7 and not have to worry about a lite candle.

How long do diffusers last? Do DISer's like diffusers or do you perfer candles?

:goodvibes

I've never bought the Yankee diffusers but I prefer diffusers, in general, over candles. Don't know why, exactly but I do have some issues with scented candles. Diffusers don't cause me a problem.

I have a cat that once set his tail on fire! So I prefer diffusers. They last a long time, I just flip the reeds every week or so.

I prefer candles!

Hi Kar!!!:hug::hug:

I have the Home for Christmas candle but haven't burned it yet. Right now I have Fall Festival burning and then Harvest as an alternative. I have reeds in my bathroom in a pretty little vase with a couple of reeds. I pour just a bit into the bottom and put about 2 reeds a month in the vase. The liquid and reeds last a long time doing this.

If you don't like to light candles, have you thought about a candle warmer that you plug in. When my candles are running out of wick, I put it on the candle warmer to use up the rest of the candle.

Hope you and your family have a great holiday season:wizard:

My whole thing with lite candles is that I am constantly running in and out and always calling back to the house to ask anyone home if I left a candle on...:headache:

I absolutely LOVE candles and soooo I figured with the diffuser the house would smell fab w/o the lite candle worry!!! :goodvibes

It is early for Home For Christmas....I set up my diffuser to try it out. I think I will get a fall fragrance diffuser as well. ::yes::

OT, how are you feeling, sweetie? :hug:

I love the fall candles we have now and just as excited to put out my Christmas ones.

I'm not feeling too bad. I'm still loosing lunch or dinner or whatever about 3x a week but I'm trying to be in the mind that we at least know it's nothing super bad. I was hoping he would get the gallbladder out by now but I guess that's for the best with Matt going TDY for 6 months.

I like diffusers, but mainly use candles with a candle warmer. They seem to last longer, no soot, and no worries about an open flame.
